The best roast beef dinner ever , my partner had pan fried Lambs liver equally as nice as my roast and don't normally have a pudding but we did and they didn't disappoint , staff very friendly great place

Our first visit...lovely place full of young energetic staff eager to please and courteous..food fresh beautifully cooked and value for money....wine cheaper than average too so full marks....😊.

Went to the bar and dining area for some breakfast and to watch the women’s World Cup. Was pretty quiet as it was quite early. Received amazing service by Isy at the bar, had a full English veggie breakfast which was super nice and a good portion for the price. Would recommend to watch sport, get drinks or eat a pub meal. Beer garden is also rlly nice and spacious.

Visited Ilkley for a friend's Birthday celebration and we were recommended to stay here. The room was stylish, bright and spacious and immaculately clean with a lovely bathroom. It was very comfortable to sleep in. The full English breakfast was the best I've ever had. The eggs were perfectly poached and the ingredients were of the highest quality and cooked with care. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this place. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a lovely friendly landlord, even treated our dog when we came in for Sunday lunch 😋 would definitely recommend this place especially if you want to watch the sports on TV

We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding and the room, food and people are absolutely amazing! If you are in the area and need a place to stay, this is the place. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, the breakfast was amazing (I recommend the eggs on toast) and our room was beautiful with a really comfy bed and really beautiful bathroom. Thank you so much for making our stay in the lovely town of Ilkley even better!

Stopped for a nigh here whilst visiting friends. Really great value hotel. Rooms were very large and well equipped. Tony the manager was a delight and his little dog Frodo was a real cutie. Food was lovely and there was a great selection of beers.

Booked 2 nights at The Black Hat for a short break in Ilkley. Great choice! Good things. Staff were excellent especially Jack Rooms very clean & well equipped & presented Beds very comfortable Breakfast very good Great beer garden Very well located for town centre & walking. Bad things. None! Would we book again? Definitely!

E we have stayed here a couple of times and we are always extremely happy with the service and the rooms. This weekend we visited just for drinks, to celebrate my birthday. A friend booked a table, we were greeted warmly by the staff and then Tony the manager came to check everything was ok. He told us that a round of cocktails were on the house - what a friendly guy with great customer service. We hope you enjoyed the birthday cake we brought back for you later on! See you again soon 😀
