The Lister Arms

Central location and car park round the corner. The Spoons offering is unpretentious and very fair. Pizzas and grills well prepared. Breakfasts very popular. Zana red wine is less than half the cost in posh nosh place, and just as drinkable. Fast delivery at peak times. Ideal for children. Can be a bit hot and sweaty when busy, and table clearance could improve. Bit of outdoor space. Overall excellent value, especially in Ilkley. The Wetherspoons formula is a work of genius .

Finding it really hard to knock this place! 5 stars across the board! Great selection of real ale. Great selection of craft cans. Food really reasonably priced, especially for Ilkley. Staff are really friendly and helpful, a big shout out to the manager Em and kitchen manager Katie! Will 100% be returning, my new favorite Wetherspoon pub

I recently visited Ilkley and I called into the Lister Arms for a couple of pints and an evening meal on two consecutive evenings. I had the mixed grill which was OK and a curry on the second night which was nothing special and struggled to be average. The Lister Arms is certainly one of the better Wetherspoons pubs in terms of cleanliness, atmosphere, service and clientele. The food and drink is still reasonably priced however the food is only of average pub quality. The toilets are clean, convenient and can be found without following one's nose.

We cannot praise the staff enough on our visit today . Jed was so friendly and efficient , he could not do enough to make sure we had a great family meal out . 15 of us in total all more than happy with every meal . Even provided plates and spoons to eat our own birthday cake . Skipton is our nearest Wetherspoons but we always travel further to ilkley . Today proved yet again why we do . The bar staff and Emmy who made this possible were all fantastic . Thank you all ,,, sorry we will be back .
