An absolute gem! Had the best time at no.57 - started with a delicious cup of coffee by the cosy fire followed by a mooch in the vintage shop upstairs. The ladies running the shop and cafe were delightful too. Thank you.
Had the most delicious lunch here today.....quite a varied menu plus usual beverages and lovely cakes. Meal freshly prepared so had to wait some time for the food to arrive but that's not a problem in an easy going, relaxed, and interesting building. Staff very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.
Found this amazing place by pure chance! We were driving by and my wife saw a delightful dress in the window, so we stopped! It’s a first class cafe with antiques you can buy. Set over several floors, each room brings a different level of quirkiness! Got chatting to the owner (who owns the Austin in the pics as well). The building is built alongside the hill, the back wall is actually part of the hall and it keeps the coolness (ideal for when it was a but her in the 70s, before that, a pub). The owner has been there some 20 odd years and had the epiphany to make it into a cafe and shop! If you’re in the area, you’ve got to visit. Oh, cheese and mustard scones melt in the mouth and the selection of salads is truly wonderful !
10/10 delicious coffee and lovely staff. The vintage and antiques shop was a real cherry on the cake. Would highly recommend
Genuinely delicious in all aspects! First time I’ve actually managed to make it in time for Lunch service… the food is beautiful, even when taking away! Colourful, balanced and tasty. Along with the fact that it’s healthy enough to not make yourself feel guilty… 😂
Went there for tea/coffee and cake with a friend. Reasonable prices. Both of us had a Latte coffee and a slice of Bakewell sponge cake. (See pictures). Lovely cake. You could sit inside with the antiques as it was an Antiques shop as well.
A lovely quaint cafe, connected with an antiques shop. Myself & my mother make regular visits, the staff are always warm & welcoming & the food & coffee is of exceptional quality, time & time again.
One of our very faw favourite cafes in Somerset, though unassuming from the outside, it is a special place indeed, well worth a visit!
The food here is so different and always very enjoyable. Great selection for veggies too.
We stopped here by chance to break up a long car journey with our little baby - we received a really warm welcome and a delicious lunch.
Love this place!
Ate a fantastic lunch today, and in April (their food is unusual, tasty, really lovely, veggie, vegans, and omnivores) aaaannnddd....there's also an antiques centre there to go and look at and buy from. That's ace too! Well set out, quirky, and lots to see. Bought a crystal butt plug...although it might be the stopper of a decanter after all. Will be a sun catcher when I modify.
