A great place to stay especially if you are driving a motorhome. Very friendly staff and customers who all love dogs. Food service can have early last orders.

Lovely roast and great value. Choice of roast dinner with a dessert for a tenner. Happy days!

Absolutely beautiful pub... Julie the landlady will make you feel welcome and tell you all the wonderful things to see and do in the country village of Ince....will definitely be back. I stayed in Eggbert my camper in the car park and didn't even need to purchase anything...but best of all is this little pub is dog friendly and has water bowls and treats for our 4 legged family members..my Harrybeau 🐾 was spoilt rotten. Thank you all x

Lovely family owned local pub. Sunday lunch is stunning. Not sentence I would dish out lightly when it comes to a good Sunday dinner. I cannot however recommend the "large" Sunday lunch unless you are a professional eater! I failed miserably. Great place and lovely people. Even better at a good price.

Super cute local pub with really friendly staff. Enjoyed some drinks there with friends on a long weekend stay in Chester, would love to go back someday.

The new management of the Duke of Wellington are off to a flying start. Went here tonight with my partner and found a very friendly pub with great food. They have just started serving food after taking over, and it was very very good. I had the garlic mushrooms followed by the cheeseburger and my partner had the soup and hunters chicken. All the food was well presented and most importantly freshly cooked and tasted delicious. They deserve to succeed in the future.

I'm knocking off a star as the day we stayed there was no food. This place and it's lovely staff and customers are worth a visit. Fabulous location. Dog friendly and free campervan parking if you drink in bar, we certainly did. Cheers

Excellent little pub. Food was great for the money. Really sorry to hear that the landlady was leaving as her and her daughter were ace and made us feel very welcome. Shame on you brewery

Brilliant pub. Excellent views over the mersey, and even a couple of horses! Food was delicious on my one experience. Landlady an absolute pleasure, she even sorted my 2 year olds hair out and provided toys! I honestly cannot fault the place
