Ok so the food was really really good, kudos to the Chef 😋
Located on the high road and about 10mins walk from the train station, the restaurant opens at 6pm on a Saturday.
There is a complusory 10% service charge which doesn't go to the waiter which I wasn't too pleased about because the front desk lady is also the waiter and she did alot of work and was so good and helpful.
I think the owner needs to employ more hands 😅
You can bring your own wine along for an additional £2 for the wine lovers.
Very small sized restaurant but decent enough to seat about 15people max. They had these small heaters which was great due to how cold it was outside.
Single toilet which is quite clean...nothing extra or fancy so no pictures of this. Lol
No wonder it's one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Croydon, honestly you have to try it.
The green curry with the coconut and sesame rice was amazing 😍 the pancake rolls are deep fried so won't recommend if you are watching your weight.
The prawn tempura, vegetable spring rolls were delightful...I really look forward to the food again.
Quite a large menu though didn't see no vegan options etc, I wouldn't class as a family restaurant as quite cosy, no kids menu etc
Overall I would recommend ❤️
Small & intimate setting. Generous portions & food was very tasty especially the chicken satay & Ca Chien (crispy sea bream with tamarind sauce).
The £2 corkage fee to BYOB is so worth it! And if you forget to bring something(or require another bottle!); there is a supermarket conveniently located across the road.
Cannot forget to mention the delightful Maria, who single handedly looked after all 20 diners in the restaurant. She was attentive, friendly and professional.
I will definitely be back.
Friendly, lovely staff and amazing food! fab tempura and noodle soup! higly raccomended. Will definitely come back!
