We came from Canada to visit our family and had a delightful dinner at Masa Restaurant! The food was tasty and authentic. The warm and inviting ambiance added to the overall experience, making it perfect for our large family gathering. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff ensuring our every need was met. Our visit over a week ago still has us reminiscing about the fantastic food, ambiance, and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

My wife and I decided to try Masa out as we fancied a change to our usual Indian fare, and boy, did it deliver!
An Afghan restaurant, the food is Middle Eastern in style, with fresh ingredients and so much flavour…it really is extremely moreish!!!
Anyway, we both absolutely loved the food and will definitely be back…very soon!!
Highly recommended.

My Officemates are really craving this kind of food so we hunted this restaurant and find it near to our office. We ordered 2 big plataters.
Have tried meat, chicken with different rice all were perfectly cooked and not heavy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Afghan restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service. The flavors in the dishes were so bold and aromatic, it was like a symphony of taste in my mouth. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I couldn't get enough.
The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our every need was met. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and I left feeling completely satisfied.
I have to say, no Afghan restaurant I've been to has matched the standard of this one. I highly recommend giving it a try if you have the chance. You won't be disappointed!

We recently catered a family event from Masa Harrow. Prior to ordering for the event we decided to try the food out from the restaurant following which we were happy to go ahead and cater our event. The food from the restaurant was delicious and incredibly moist and flavourful however the level of service we received for our catered event was above and beyond what was expected. The food was spectacular with every guest commenting on how delicious it was. The delivery was prompt and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend using Masa both restaurant and catering. The Mantu was amongst some of the best I have tasted. We also ordered the Kebab and the chicken bbq both of which I would highly recommend

One of the best restaurants I have been to in my entire life! The Afghan food they provide is more authentic and original than those in Afghanistan itself! Staff are super friendly and professional. I cannot think of a single area of improvement…everything is absolute perfection 😍

The food (kebabs) here is a piece of art. Just come down here and eat. Words won’t do justice. Go for the Kebab platters for a full experience and a rice dish. It’s a BYOB place. What more can you ask for.

Been a here a couple of times, gets very busy during holidays. The food tends to be on the oily side, but taste wise it all works well. Not the height of luxury, but given the fact it is in Harrow Wealdstone, it's a decent option. Cheap and cheerful.

Not bad food but shocking service. Visited Masa a couple of years back and loved it. Went this week and was shocked at the lack of service, I felt like a burden visiting them. They didn't welcome us, we had to find our own table (it was dead inside) we then had to ask them to come over and take our order. When they saw us raising our hand to get their attention they walked away, there was no politness no thank you even when we left the restaurant. We had the buffet which was okay. However, I originally asked for another item, they clearly did not want to cook it (despite displaying it in the fridges) and tried to putt me off it! They really need to learn the basics of customer service. I wouldn't return.

This was completely worth the long journey there and was so much food we ended up with leftovers for the next day. To top it off this cost us about £30 including service. And as for drinks, it's byo!

Service veered between disinterested and very disinterested (they were showing a Christmas film on Channel 5 that was clearly far more entertaining than actually serving the customers), but was friendly enough. Also note they don't take cards and trying to find a working cash machine on a rainy Sunday night in Wealdstone put me in mind of a particularly grim episode of Challenge Anneka.<br/>

Today is the fifth anniversary of Tamarind and Thyme. What a great five years it’s been and thank you all for still reading! The past year has been particularly busy what with balancing work, fun and the blog: filming an online commercial , a belated birthday trip to Vienna , being shocked by prices in Zürich , seeing beautiful Innsbruck , a work trip to Toronto , a shellfish journey in West Sweden, a Christmas trip to Gothenburg , a holiday in Hong Kong , a work trip to Orlando , Barcelona at Easter , a date with a Swedish chef . A month or two ago, I dragged Blai up to the wilds of Harrow and Wealdstone (hooray for the overground!) to try an Afghan restaurant by the name of Masa. Really great restaurant. I love masa. Every time I go there and try something new I am always really satisfied and so are my friends and family. My favourite dish is the aubergine tomato starter and the man too which is fresh pasta and mince. If you have never had afghan food I would recommend it as it is a mix of indian and Turkish food. Really lovely

Really lovely food. I love this place, the food is wonderful, I've been here on many an occasion and never had anything I didn't like. My only problem with this place is that it can be quite loud because it's all marble floors etc so if you have a hearing problem it can be a bit problematic in a group to follow conversation.

Very positive. I enjoyed my first visit at Masa, as I never tried Afghan food before I wasn't sure of what to order. I had some spinach and yogurt puree for starter which came with some warm local bread, it was very fresh and well flavoured. Then I had one of the best tender succulent lamb I ever tasted which was served on a spit, delicious! Will definitely visit again.

Masa Harrow. Food is absolutely delicious, Greek Salad starter was more than ample and fantastically seasoned. The fresh bread from the Tandoor was wonderful. Chicken & spinach Sabzi was superb, as was the chicken karahi. Not licenced so take your own alcohol if you want it.
