We were here for my Mum’s 80th birthday and the food was fantastic. You get what you pay for is my view and with this place, whilst it isn’t cheap, everything we got was absolutely great to eat. By way of an example, the 50 day aged 10oz rib eye is £30. Seems expensive, but it is by some distance the best steak I have eaten in any restaurant anywhere - and I have eaten steak in 40+ countries including US, S Africa and Australia. I don’t doubt there is better somewhere, but this is great quality to start with and is cooked unbelievably well. I love cooking steak at home but I can’t do it this good and so, to me, it is well worth the price! All in all a great place for a special lunch.

It was a pleasant surprise to find that they have a set menu for a Tuesday night dinner (don't recall seeing it on their website). From starter to dessert, our food was super tasty; our steak cooked to a perfect medium. All the staff were really nice though I wished I had asked the name of my waitress. She deserves a shout out here for being very attentive and friendly. All in all, a lovely date night with my daughter at Miller & Carter!

I’ve been to quite a few Miller and Carters around London, and my heart is with the Muswell Hill location. But I have to say the service here was spectacular. We were served by a wonderful person called Nicole. Not only was she friendly and helpful, but she was so welcoming that I asked her to sit down and join us at one point. She didn’t though sadly! She really looked after us and made us feel at home. I went to this miller and Carter because it’s close to where I work and it’s the first time I’ve been there. My friend and I said we would go back specifically because of her and if Nicole wasn’t working that day, it probably wouldn’t be as nice an experience. She was an absolute delight. Thank you Nicole!!!

My 3rd visit. Great atmosphere. Had to wait to be seated but got there eventually. Jamie our server was very pleasant. Food took a bit longer than usual to arrive. Delicious ribs & chicken. Nice background music🎶 . Please do better fruit juices. Freshly made would have been great. Hubby and l had a great evening. Until next time

This place has always been hot and miss with the service, but when we were in lasts time it was great. The waiter was from North America (at a guess) and hence was excellent. Food was also top notch. One problem - there were a few kids running around. You have to tell the parents to sort it out and not rely on the customers to do so.

The server was great, attentive with the right amount of service and distance. She was pleasant, helpful and asked where we would like to sit and if we were comfortable. The food was hot and tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu. Calamari and the mushrooms for starters. We had the M&C burger and steak sandwich meals. Drinks diet coke and a wine spritzer. Good value for money. We order dessert but not from the lunch menu, as the ones we wanted were not part of the menu. The cappuccino at the end of the meal was the only thing that was not great. I asked for it to be hot and it wasn't. I requested additional hot water. Which I received but would like my coffee to be have been hot. My friends cappuccino was tepid, whilst my one was warmer, but not hot.
