Second time walking here for their annual beer festival weekend. Great atmosphere and a lovely pub too on non-festival weekends (try the fish and chips…amazing!) Good quality burger at the festival, would have liked a bit more choice …
I hadn’t visited this pub for many years as now live in Suffolk but was passing and decided to stop and have a bite to eat on a whim. The bar service was excellent, served with a smile. We ordered some food, I had the noodles and sizzling …
Attended during late Bank Holiday beer festival. Lots of atmosphere. Great selection of Ales & Ciders. Good live music.
A great 'feel' about the place....
Been coming here for 20 years on and off. It’s better now than it’s ever been (and was good before). Great service, excellent range of drinks especially the beers and the food was delicious. Can’t recommend highly enough
My first visit since the renovations. It was good to see that they have been sympathetic; keeping the traditional English pub feel. Beer was very much better than it used to be and I suspect the food too but all we had was a lite bite.
A proper old pub in the the countryside offers a warm welcome, a good selection of real ales and excellent home cooked food. Definitely worth a visit.
