The Viper Mill Green - Ingatestone - Photo album

Found this by accident, recommended by another pub as we only wanted a light meal which they weren't serving. Opposite the pub is woodland so lots of dogs and humans having refreshments. Food was nice although a little on the pricey side, but isn't everything. Nice friendly atmosphere.
Very and I mean VERY tasty food. The portions were also incredibly big. My friends got fish and chips and it was huuuge (and tasty). I got a BLT sandwich and what I liked is that it was homemade. Or as I said β€œa sandwich that your Mum would have prepared with love and care”. <3
Really great place. We went there for lunch after a countryside walk. It's in a lovely location with lots of outside seating. The food was fantastic and served quickly despite being busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend a visit.
The Viper is like an oasis, especially if you travel by bike; located in the middle of woodland it feels miles from anywhere. There is a very good range of beers, and the brews we sampled were really good. However this isn't a foodie destination; the sandwich I ordered was nicely presented, but the
Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and delicious food. Good beers too!
Visiting from Bristol. We stopped here after a family walk. Table of 8 (mix of adults and children) we all chose different meals, and all the food came out at the same time and we were all very impressed by the quality of all them . Good honest country pub menu. Service was efficient and friendly to
Lovely country pub. Always worth visiting but especially for the Bank Holiday beer festival's. Didn't get a chance to eat, but standard pub food on the menu.
Really nice country pub with lovely garden, good selection of beers and nice food (we only had sandwiches). Friendly and happy staff.
Relaxed pub with plenty of seating and shade in the beer garden. Good provision of parking and beautiful, shaded wooded walks in the immediate surroundings.
Lovely old pub on the middle of nowhere. Big car park. Loads of seating outside. Lots of seating inside. Food and service was amazing. Definitely go back.
Nice, quiet and warm place to spend time with family or friends! Tasty food, good beers and nice staff! For sure will come back. Don't hesitate to stop, however you travel or looking for a nice place!
Very nice and recently renovated proper country pub. Decent food and drinks fairly priced.
Lovely little pub, lovely country location, lovely food, lovely service, lovely staff, you should go, it's πŸ‘
Quick visit after a friend recommended and did not disappoint! Both staff and patrons so friendly and the Scotch egg was so good! Loads of outside space for when the sun comes out to sit outside as well. We will definitely be back soon, thank you! Xxx
Great food and real ale. Really nice refit of the pub. Dog friendly. Nice walks opposite.
Only popped in for a quick pint. Very helpful staff. Would not be out of place in a bustling village. Good range of beers, ciders and lagers. Large car park and outdoor seating. Will go back for lunch. A must visit pub !! πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒπŸΊπŸ»
Super country pub serving real ales. There is parking and also a beer garden. A variety of meals are on offer each costing around Β£15 pound a head.
First visit in a few years. Welcomed to a lovely pub in the countryside . Lovely setting, and I will definitely be returning to try the food.
