We had a lovely Sunday lunch in New Moon today. Food and service were very good, would really recommend.
I have only given 4 stars, as they didn't do decaf coffee. (Very strange in this day and age). Very disappointed that I couldn't have coffee after the meal. I didn't get as far as asking if they had a milk alternative.
If decaf was on the menu then we would definitely go back.

The food was really tasty. Where else do you get fine fish, very fine chips and homemade tartare sauce... yumm! The Ladies toilet is very fresh!

I went to New Moon for lunch on Saturday for the first time. The service was excellent and the food first class.
We were a group of eleven ladies and all very much enjoyed our afternoon. The standard of the meals, both the cooking and presentation was impressive.

Excellent country pub with a great selection of beer and food. If your in the area you should check it out as they sometimes have bands on too. Beer garden is great on a sunny day dog friendly too.

The New Moon has been tastefully redcorated and is now serving food at Lunchtime that I found very tasty - one of the best tasting Steak and Guinness pies I have had. Would like to see a real ale behind the bar and hope they start to do food in the evenings as well
