Love this place, i'm there most days for a mocha (best mocha ever) and the ice cream and cakes are delicious too. You always get a friendly welcome and chat when you're in, the guys are all super helpful and lovely people.

Perfect coffee spot. I had come across the Milk Bar when researching places in Inverness before visiting. It didn’t disappoint. The hot chocolate was sublime, the coffee delicious and cakes 😍

I was exploring Inverness city and came to Victorian market - the aroma of coffee pulled me to this place. The shop keeper Peter was a kind and friendly man; he made me the fantastic cortado coffee. There was few seats to sit inside and some outside. He allowed me to spend quality time there. Then I tried Ferraro roscher ice cream and it was awesome. If you are in Inverness and if come across Victorian market and if by chance you are coffee or ice cream lover then this is the place for u.

A small and cosy café that serves a dreamed bacon roll. The brioche bun makes the difference adding a bit of sweet taste that matches perfectly with the crispy bacon. The cinnamon and raising bun was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service if you are a bit short of time to catch the train.

My wife and I had the great experience of a visit to this establishment on our trip to Inverness. Full disclosure: we never had any milk, although I’m sure it’s delicious, but what we did have was their coffee (long black to be precise) and it was delicious. Along with that we enjoyed the seating outside overlooking the river and castle. The lady who made the coffee was really nice. We also met a dog. Can’t think of any reason to drink coffee anywhere else while in Inverness.

Kids had ice cream milkshakes which were delicious! Cherry and almond really had a back note of almond which was yummy! Chocolate rich and satisfying. Lattes nae too bad either. Friendly server even let my child taste the flavour before he committed to his shake 😄

Fantastic coffee spot at the Victorian Market in Inverness. There are lots of places that do a nice brew in town, but this is one of the finest. Exemplary latte art and a perfect tasting flat white (pictured) from their own roast supplied by another local business. They also sell incredible cakes that you'll need to leave room for after any meal. Friendly service, top coffee and a unique setting make this place a winner. An absolute must for coffee lovers in Inverness.

A nice wee coffee shop, great cakes and coffee. This place was recommended to me by a staff member at coyotes as there coffee machine wasn't working and I'm very glad they did. There selection of cakes is really good with lots of different ones you won't usally find. I had a role cookie and it was very good and k wanted to try many more of what they had hopefully will get the chance. There coffee is Also good and they have a good selection of these. If your wanting a coffee and cake this is definitely a good shout they have a few tables but not many but it good for a take away. 5 stars would recommend!!

We have been in the UK on holiday for 3 weeks now. This is best coffee in the UK. It should be a tourist destination in itself. I almost gave up on finding decent coffee. Thanks Peter for saving us.

Great espresso and coffee shop within the Victorian Market away from the noise of the street, but still feel like you're sitting on a terrace. Delicious milkshakes. Had to come back two days in a row. Also a good selection of organic teas, organic sodas, and baked goods. Locally sourced and lovingly served just as their sign says.

Surely the best coffee in Inverness, along with the other shops run by the local owners? Also the friendliest staff, with Justina or James happy to serve your favourite coffee. The milkshakes are incredible too, and available with a shot of coffee too - ding dong!
