Honestly, Saffron serves the best Indian food I have ever eaten. It's such a friendly, cosy & informal little restaurant with the most attentive, helpful & friendly staff. Bring your own alcoholic drinks if you want (or pop into the Co-op next door for a bottle of your choice!) & Saffron waiter will bring you an ice bucket for your bottle! Service was quick & food tasted fresh & bursting with flavour! Even the sorbet & coffees were faultless! Very reasonably priced meal- we will be back very soon! Thank you for a great night out 😊

Has to be the best Indian in Inverness !!! We do frequent here often, amazing food, great atmosphere and the staff are second to none !! Always recommend our guests to dine here too or alternatively delivery service !!!! Fast and efficient service at all times. Menu choice is fantastic and love the fact that they spice your food to your specific requirements.

Had to cancel a sit down meal here because we had a serious road traffic collision so we ordered a takeaway instead. Not only was the food fantastically tasty & plentiful,they sent us a couple of small bottles of wine as a gesture of sympathy for our traumatic experience. Long live human kindness.... Thank you Saffron. We wish you much success for the future & hope to come for a 'sit down' meal very soon.

Visiting from the US. Great halal food and excellent service. Read the reviews on Google before heading there. Please ignore the negative reviews…clearly folks with a bias against the owners. And no, they don’t serve “pork”…get it right people.

Amazed by food. Better than many Indians restaurants of London. Area of improvement- hygiene issues.(table was sticky, probably not cleaned/wiped properly after previous guests) The waiter needs to be trained a bit better. He served 2 fresh plates and didn’t serve fresh plate plate for the 3rd person.(we ordered 2 gravy and 1 kebab) His argument was that he thought that the third person will eat kebab. Which is not a problem as a misunderstanding as long as you are smiling and have a good attitude. His tone was reflecting that do we need 3rd plate ? Indian foods are gravy based and are shared by multiple people. He said the quantity is 1 portion which is enough for 1 person but the two gravies was sufficient for 3 people. So maybe he wanted us to waste gravy but not share.

When it’s not a good day, order from Saffron. Absolutely fantastic. I had the the Prawn Purée and the the Balti. Perfect dinner and finished the day off perfectly. It really is the best in Inverness

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't recommend this place enough! Will be back!

Tasty meal and quality service. We had the chicken biryani and triple chocolate dessert. First two layers were delicious. Third layer was too sweet for us. However still happy to give this restaurant 5 stars. Definitely worth the short drive out of Inverness city centre.

Second time ordering from here. Definitely one of the best Indian takeaways in Inverness. Will be our go to! Tried 5 different curries which were all fantastic. The Tiger Special was unlike any curry I’ve had before and was BEAUTIFUL. Starters were very tasty. Naan breads are great. Spiced onions weren’t great but this is the only fault I can say and that’s just picking holes. Delivery was very fast too! Will 100% recommend
