The Ivy Bar & Kitchen

I had the steak pie with mustard mash, my wife had the spag boll. Both were very good and well cooked. The host ( Amin) was extremely polite and couldn't do enough. Relaxed atmosphere and very clean and tidy. Great prices compared to other places we checked out. Also try the local brewed lager it's gorgeous Good selection of cocktails Too! Deffo will be back if I get to Inverness again. ... Oh, 80's music knocking out too, doesn't get better folks!

My wife and I had two wonderful nights in a row at The Ivy Bar and Kitchen. I am an Australian from a resturant background, so I am fussy and straightforward if my expectations are not met by staff or kitchen. I have nothing but praise for both. To start we had very well created cocktails and then progressed on to dinner. Across the two evenings we recieved great attentive service and a total of 6 wonderfully prepared meals. On 2 occasions both my Venison was cooked to absolute to the minute perfection and the Cranachan was spectacular. I also have specific dietary requirements and had to request modifications to some dishes which were understood and welcomed. Across the UK & across EU we dined out in many vaunted and exclusive resturants but we found The Ivy Bar was the most memorable expirence because of the service and that the kitchen got everything right. Great team 👍

This place is a great example of what teamwork should look like in the service field. From the manager/host/waiter/trainer, to the supervisor/runner,wait staff, and bar tender this place has impeccable service! At one point or another, each one came to our table to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. The food was phenomenal and the mixologist creations were terrific! The carrot tomato starter soup was amazing as was the pan fried sea bass. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food in this area. Be sure to make reservations early in the day or a day advance if possible as the good places get booked early.
