My sister and I stopped here and while traveling. The soup of the day was bacon potato, and we each got sandwiches (a BLT, and a chicken mayo). This was a huge bowl of soup and 2 full sandwiches for only £9!! The man was so nice, and although he was the only one working both the til and the kitchen, he was very quick.
There are only two "tables" to sit at, but most people take their food to go. It's a nice spot for a very good lunch.

The chef is an artist with food! I had the chicken (curry) sandwich, and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Huge sandwich, but I ate every last crumb. Do yourself a favor. Go there. Take away or sit at the barrel.
This is a proper salad box! No pasta, no bread, but generous filling of choice, paired with quality salad vegetables (beetroot, olives, gherkins, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, etc). All other delis take note! 🎯
Had a great full Scottish breakfast for £6. Substitutions allowed! The lady serving was very friendly and welcoming.
This is probably the best value for money place in town. The helpings are large and high quality (chicken). The salad has always been fresh and I like the flavours. If anyone else was doing this review they would give it a 5 but I try not to throw those around. I usually get the soup and sandwich deal to go with cake. If you have a friend the cake is the right size for sharing.
This place is a little hidden gem, I usually go for a soup and salad box which costs about £7 and fills you right up. Very friendly staff and the quality of the food is always good, fresh , tasty and healthy, what more could you want.
Oh wow! Just stopped in for a quick sandwich with my family. We all were just blown away by the quality of everything. Absolutely delicious! Amazing price as well.

Nice friendly staff, I order a cheese and onion toastie and it's nice and tasty. Freshly made, quick service. They did a brilliant job during the crisis with social distancing. I would recommend prices are very good not too expensive.
I was warmly welcomed. The soup and sandwich were excellent. If I'm back in Inverness I will be back. Thank you for the great hospitality.
