The best gluten free cod and chips I’ve ever encountered. Delightful.

Went here for breakfast, tea and dinner in a period of two days and everything was great. The staff is friendly, the interior nice and if you can catch a spell of sun outside sitting is also nice as it is also a bit wind covered.
The produce is very good and there is also a great selection of beer and spirits. The basics you can find on the menu which I would call pub grub++, as e.g. chips are chips of course, but the chili was also very nice and the cheese sauce is also self-made. The hot dog sausage was fine for UK Standards (which is a complement 😜). I would check the black board for changing meals which make it a very good restaurant.
Highly recommended before, in between or after a long beach walk! ⛱️

We reserved for 20 people for 1 o‘clock lunch, but as it was pouring we arrived early. Nothing was too much trouble for this efficient and friendly team. Tables were pushed together, lunch orders were taken and we were served in no time. The food was excellent and all in all we were delighted with our get together. Many thanks.

Charming cafe offering an interesting and well thought out home cooked menu. Service was swift and friendly. I enjoyed my eggs benedict - the hollandaise sauce was well balanced.

Gluten Free Fish and Chips heaven! A separate fryer, all fish and all chips served here is reportedly GF. They also have options for the burgers and almost all the starters main meals. Brownie, a cake and a sticky toffee pudding option GF as well!

Lovely spot for cafe/restaurant. We arrived about 11:45 so had brunch which was very nice, lunch menu starts at 12:00.
Very good service, bit noisy but would definitely recommend. On street parking limited, imagine could be difficult during peak times.

Great place for a Sunday lunch.
2 seating areas outside during Sumner months. Both dog friendly with plenty of water bowls.
Inside seating area open most of year. Daily cakes display inside.
Extensive menu, we enjoyed Beef Chilli Nachos, Scampi & Chips, Lemon Curd Cheesecake and Trio of Sorbrts. Nice coffee and hot chocolate. Goid selection of soft drinks and alcohol.
Helpful and friendly staff. Service was reasonable for a busy Sunday lunch.
We will be back again to sample the breakfast menu.

Total gem! Wonderful staff and amazing local food! Many homemade options. Absolutely the best. It’s also right by the coast - you can watch the water from the outdoor seating.

Amazing breakfast, perfect Eggs Benedict with lots of smoked salmon and a very hearty full breakfast. Good coffee and decadant hot chocolate.
Lunch menu looks good may have to come back.

Lovely little cafe with table service. Friendly staff. Great coffee and carrot cake after watching the dolphins at low tide up at the lighthouse and then walking along the beach to the village. Sitting out in the sunshine was a bonus. There is parking along the seafront and a small carpark in the village.
