If I was to summarize I'd say this place can be either a hit or a miss. Chips quality can range from having a whole bag of crunchy ends, to having a good balance between chunky chips and crunchy ends.
Fish is ok, nothing special. Nothing to differentiate it from your average 'chipper' deep fried fish. Can't comment on much else.

Phoned order at 4.30pm picked up 4.45pm just being made up, mince pie perfect & tasty chips cooked to perfection.ladies enjoyed there fish.will certainly be back thank-you.

The best fish and chips I've had in a while. The standard portion of haddock and chips was more than enough for one person. The fish was clearly freshly cooked and so were the chips. It was a spontaneous decision to get a chippy and my husband picked this one because they had freshly caught haddock. I'd say it's not the cheapest; 2 fish suppers cost £19 but worth every penny.

Absolutely 1st class fish suppers. Had family over from Brunei visiting and I have to say our last meal together was the best meal of all ( and I had been cooking). Kids just loved it. Thank you.

Worth searching this shop out when in town.
Chips are delicious and decent portions, black pudding supper was amazing.
All fish cooked fresh to order, prices are good and food is high quality for a high street chipper.

Not too bad chippy, I had a steak pie which had too much salt on it, chips were good very big portion size for large unlike other chippers.

Great wee chippy with perfect batter....light n fluffy not crispy n puffy like every other one in the UK.
Really nice staff..... But get rid of they polystyrene trays horrible things and also an exyra outlay for the shop and bad for the environment.
Chip steak was fab, chips were delish and thanks for the hot water for my cuppa.....hope i see an URN for tea n coffee next time I'm in....haha!!

Chips were great. Service was probably the friendliest I’ve ever had in a chipper. The staff are brilliant.
