Food was amazing! We got the 3 course set menu for £31 and it’s the best food we have had a in while !

We went to the Mariners for a 60th birthday meal where the top deck was hired out for the whole party. All staff were very attentive and the food was extremely good quality, with a great choice of beer, wines and spirits at the bar. On average mains cost between £20-40, so it's on the more expensive side, but the quality of food on offer certainly justifies the price. Would happily recommend visiting.

Always a pleasure to dine here, while expensive the food is always excellent and the venue unique. Great

Incredible food!! Set menu amazing value, and drinks very reasonably priced. Lovely, helpful staff, who were great with accommodating for my boyfriends 21st and setting up decorations for us. Thank you!!

This guy really knows what he’s doing. Brings his amazing menu with him because hey, if it’s not broken why fix it. Amazing beef wellington only he knows how to perfect. Every time, without fail. It’s got to be the best in Suffolk in my opinion. Highly recommend always…

Lovely restaurant on an old boat. Decor is nice and the deck is lovely to sit on when sunny. The set menu is very good value for money. I had seafood skewer which was delicious and my partner steak which was HUGE but a little cold unfortunately. The waiters and chef provided the most excellent service though and insisted it was absolutely no trouble to swap it. Food is fresh great quality and tastes delicious. Drinks were good too and reasonably priced. The starters are excellent value at only £3!!!!! Eat here.

We had a lovely meal at Mariners on a cold February evening.
Despite it's age the boat come restaurant was warm and cosy.
The menu was small and concise and everything we ate hit the spot.
The grilled sardines and the pork belly were particular highlights.

A group of four of us who were sailing got a late (9pm) booking on a Saturday. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice on the à la carte menu. A great wine list too. It was busy but the waiting staff were attentive and very friendly. The setting was great and everything was ‘ship shape’! At around £50 per head, including wine and drinks, it was really good value too.

Had a lovely lunch on this boat, was a bit dubious at first as the outside didn't look overly inviting, but as they say never judge a book by it's cover, would have given five stars but it was a bit chilly, had to put the oil heater on next to me to warm up. The food was amazing would definitely recommend the pork belly with Calvados sauce
