Really great coffee shop - lovely breakfast menu

Had afternoon tea today at this cafe, this was my first visit. It was soo good. The food is super tasty and their susage roll is BETTER than Greggs and the scones are the best I ever had. Good selection of hot drinks, I can only recommed it.

Where there today for the second time with a friend.
I had the halloumi, chilli and avocado sandwich and added a fried egg to it. It is now 21:55, about 8 hours after I had the sandwich and it was so good I'm still craving another!
Whilst the price for a sandwich and can of coke might have been on the more expensive side, the quality of the food was second to none.

Applaud is the most amazing place to go for coffee! The beans are beautiful and you can taste the love that is put into the food. the atmosphere is honestly amazing. As a regular here I couldn’t go anywhere else. The girls are so welcoming and coming here makes my day! Thank you so much ladies!!!

The cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, I sat in the workspace upstairs and it was lovely to get work done and have lunch and coffee there. The staff are lovely and helped me a lot.

Best coffee and cake! I tried the raspberry polenta cake and couldn’t stop eating it till it was finished! It was so moist and light. It was a perfect addition to my flat white 😍 Thank you Nelly and Hannah ❤️

We've had breakfast and lunch here before, both times absolutely fantastic. All ingredients are fresh and delicious.

My first visit.
All very nice... very friendly staff. I did notice (and I was bothered) that none of the staff had masks on...such a shame.
But we had our masks on and was happy with that.
Bacon sandwich with granary bread was delicious, coffee was a little weak, but looked better than it tasted. Would recommend, do try out the bacon sarnie...

A really cosy coffee shop, filled with extremely polite, welcoming staff. This coffee shop is simply a great little place to stop off and enjoy a fantastic selection of coffees, cakes and a very appealing lunch menu which is frequently updated.
The food itself (sweet potato and coconut soup, served with homemade toasted bread), was extremely satisfying and full of flavour. Also, a very attractive looking dish.
Blankets are supplied, should you wish to take a seat in the garden area, which is a nice touch.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this quaint, welcoming coffee shop. I will definitely be revisiting.
