Just discovered this place for a sunday brunch, probably the best full English breakfast I've had in a long time. The rest of the menu looks absolutely amazing too, I will definitely be back here!
Super cute little find on a recent visit to Ipswich. We had the Rib Eye sharer and oh my days absolutely stunning meat (not to mention the delicious sides that came with!)
The Bistro has a lovely ambiance in a superb location. The food was excellent with plenty of it. The staff are friendly and happy to please. The prices are very competitive and we will be going back.
From the moment we arrived (early for a booking) we were met by extremely friendly staff, we were given the option of a couple of tables either inside or out, we chose outside as it was such a lovely evening.
Water was brought to our table whilst we were looking at the menu.
Head Chef came out to speak to us which was a lovely touch.
Food was amazing, service was impeccable and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, will certainly return.
Thank you
This place is just stunning! If you are in Ipswich you need to stop at this lovely Bistro.
The view is lovely, if you are lucky enough you will sit next to the window and you will have a lovely meal with the waterfront view.
Let’s talk about the main thing: FOOD!
What I can say, the best quality you can get in town, they have a fantastic chef as the plate a quite elaborate and it is something you usually can’t find in most of the restaurants.
We had a brunch and the quality pf the food was better than other place around.
If you love the cheese 🧀 have a look of the video 😍
We didn’t plan to get a dessert, but I did spot on the menu a dessert that did catch us: THE PISTACHIO AND FIG MILLEFEUILLE. Honestly this dessert was an emotional experience, it is a plated dessert with a mix of ingredients that all together were just STUNNING!
Plus of this place: they got my favourite dessert wine RECIOTO DELLA VAL POLICELLA. If you love red sweet wine you need to try it 🍷
Service was lovely, they are really friendly and good attention to details. I love the fact that they have proper napkins not the paper one.
Last the prices are really good considering the quality of food and the service.
Well done to this Bistro 👍🏻❤️
Place with character. Some sitting areas outside and inside. Lots of paintings, which are for sale too. If you are lucky you can get a table with a view to the waterfront and all boats. We have been served pretty quickly, food have been presented really nicely. Not the cheapest place to go but worth to try and give a go. Very filling. Surely do not need any starters or deserts. Although they had lovely menu for deserts.
This is an amazing restaurant, you wouldn't think it was in Ipswich, feels like it should be in London or a major city. The food is excellent, and all made from quality ingredients. Some people may say it's in the pricier side, but I really don't mind the cost for this level of excellence.
Amazing cheese night! Great atmosphere and service. The dog was a highlight, too :) Highly recommend.
Had a lovely meal with friends last night, great food, great wine, great table with a view, great staff and Slash was beautiful.
Stopped here on a Sunday morning for a late lunch. The staff were lovely, but the service was slow. Maybe additional team members needed for the brunch/lunch time. The food, while on the pricier sider, was of fab quality - you could tell everything on the lovely full english was of good quality.
