Ocean Fish Platter

Our first time at Ocean Fish Platter today for a Birthday lunch. I had heard good feedback from a number of people, and have to say it is very much deserved. Everything from the welcome, the service, the food, and the surroundings was excellent. The extra touches for the Bithday boy were also very much appreciated. I would recommend to anyone, and I'm not even a big fish lover!

Went for a Birthday Lunch for my partner along with our son. Food was excellent and plentiful, very rich but well worth the price. Staff were very friendly and at the end of the meal they came out with a special cake to celebrate the birthday. All in all a very nice meal and good value for money. Will definitely go back again.

I've been here three times in the last couple of months, and the food is always absolutely bang on. I have had the specials twice (lobster & calamari the first time, and then octopus & squid the other, and had the grilled halibut the other time. My partner had the fried skate wing once and then grilled skate wing the other times. Friendly vibes too - Can highly recommend!

If you love fish and seafood (mussels, lobster, prawns, octopus), you need to try Ocean Fish Platter. The food smells, look and have a fantastic taste. They are very professional and helpful because they made for me a very tasty vegan dish(falafel with roast pepper and aubergine, hummus, olives, salad and some sous)My wife said to me that special platter (seafood, octopus, lobster) was really tasty and she will come back soon to try another dish. Great place where we had a culinary experience for a reasonable prices. We had a special platter, vegan dish and the very known casolete with seafood mix for only 80 pounds.

The Ocean Fish Platter restaurant has very good reviews from customers. I want to say that they deserve it very much. The restaurant has an interesting decor and the service men are nice and smiling. The dishes we ordered were; Ocean Platter for 2 with chips and salad and grilled sea bass. The dishes arrived quickly and were nicely presented. The dishes were really tasty and well seasoned. Prices may seem high, but this is normal for good quality seafood. We recommend it to all seafood lovers.

Really cosy, nice pocket in Ipswich Town. Came here with family and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. They tasted light and were seasoned well. We tried lobster for the first time and it was a pleasant surprise! Only issue is that for the small portions we chose the price was rather high. Great front staff.
