Love eating here, it was a birthday treat for our eldest daughter today but we like it here because the place is always clean, service is always friendly and the food is really nice. Good menu options for the family and staff always good when it comes to special dietary requirements.

We had the set price 3 course meal. Staff were friendly and helpful without being pushy. Food was all lovely and fresh and served promptly. Best Pizza express I've had in a while. Enjoyable.

Seven of us had booked a table for 20.00 on a Saturday evening. Surprisingly it was almost empty when we arrived. We were seated quickly and given a moment to browse the menu.
Our waitress was superb and did a fantastic job throughout our visit.
The food was cooked beautifully and arrived quickly. All seven of us were very happy with the service and food........
In my experience of eating at both Pizza Express in Ipswich there's no denying the waterfront branch is a very scenic location to be but the service is disingenuous and rushed and the food always a little disappointing whereas the Lloyds avenue branch the service is warm, friendly and efficient and the food as good as you'd hope for from a Pizza Express.

I had to leave a review after the fab service we received tonight. We were running a little late and seeing a show at half 7 and had less than an hour for dinner. We let the lady know as we entered and she said she would rush our order through. We had our food and drinks within 20 mins of arrival!! My husband and I rarely get an evening to ourselves and it made our evening less stressful and much more enjoyable! The staff were friendly and the food was lovely!

First visit to Lloyds Avenue restaurant but will certainly go back. The portion sizes were good, the staff very friendly and the service was unbelievably fast! Lovely food, piping hot and very tasty. For Vegan's, I can recommend the carrot cake dessert which comes with a hot drink of choice. Absolutely delicious and a good sized piece of cake 😋

Went here for lunch. We had a few amendments to the pizzas which were handled well. Had a lovely lemonade while I was there. Staff friendly but lacking a bit of knowledge to give it a 5 star.

Comparing prices to taste pizza is good value for money. We've ordered three different ones and two were good and one was delicious. Also I can use tesco coupons which is additional benefit. Restaurant was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Couldn't ask for more on a dinner out. 👍👏🍕

I prefer this to the Pizza Express on the waterfront. The staff are nice and the food is good. If you download the app you don't even need to wait to pay, and there is always a voucher somewhere!
