The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable and was overall good value for the price. The only issue we had was the noise levels as you could hear everything which led to a restless night. Other guests were constantly in and out of the main door which slammed loudly as well as emitting a loud beeping alarm. This went on late into the night. The pub was ok but I would say the food was overpriced for the quality level. The location was good, easy to get to and close to local amenities.

Top tip! This hotel sites to the side of the mermaid pub, but you need to go into the pub for the reception first. The hotel is clearly very modern and pretty new looking. Rooms are clean, modern, and are a good size. The bathroom was a good size too, with a bath. It had a powerful shower, which was nice. Good size tv to watch in bed. The room was really nice and dark, so great for sleeping, and I found it very peaceful. The only two downsides I found were the loo roll holder was broken and hadn't been replaced (but really not an issue), and it was a good 25-minute walk into town, but I think it was a really good hotel.

The room was clean and spacious. I was on my own but even with a second person there was more than enough space. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. Checking in was easy, facilities were great and the breakfast was as described. It was a lovely night
