Went to the oyster reach from my son's 23rd birthday.book the table for 6 sat down. Nice big round table. All clean tidy server came across order drinks then ordered food is very good. Choice of two courses. Three courses or 4 courses. Good selection and also good allergy card. What was given to my daughter, food came out hot. Very nice. Good value for money. Went to the restroom. It was clean. It was tidy. . plenty of hand soap and sanitizer. Overall 9 at 10. The glass had lip stick mark on round top ,so the glass wasn't washed properly but the server came straight over and replace the drink and a glass and everything was good, we were very well looked after by the server who took the menus and brought off food over. Think her name was Denise but she was very good. A credit to the oyster reach ,

We had a good evening, great food and service.

Wonderful service from the staff, can't fault it, even if I tried.
Food wise, it's tasty and well presented. However, it's a bit pricy. For the portions that is. Overall, great đ

Just had our Xmas lunch here and it was excellent. From the initial meet and greet to the food and to us leaving 2 hrs later, everything was faultless. Lunch was absolutely delicious, we could only manage three out of the four courses ( had to take a rain check on the coffee but managed to squeeze in the mint chocolates đ). Compliments to the chef and kitchen team! The waiting staff were attentive and our courses weren't rushed making our lunch time spent at the Oyster Reach very enjoyable. If Xmas lunch is happening here in 2021 we will definitely be coming. Would highly recommend. Well done !

20 of us attended there Sunday afternoon for an 80th birthday celebration.... The service we received was exceptional so to was the meal.... We all had different types of roast, and they were all served together perfectly cooked and hot.... Absolute perfection.

First time coming and wasnât disappointed. 5 adult meals all out together without any wrong orders. Food was cooked perfectly. No complaints at all. Desserts where amazing too! Service was good but could have been a bit more attentive. Had to keep flagging staff down if we wanted another drink or to pay our bill. Other then that we had a good experience here and will come again.

This place was attached to the premier Inn next door. Work had organised the accommodation and added a meal deal so were eating breakfast and diner here.
The food was fine. Nothing over special but tasty none the less. Enjoyed the breakfast and all the meals I personally had although a colleague has an under cooked chicken one night. With some of the food, drinks and dessert an extra cost had to be paid if wanted under the meal deal. The service was fine, some staff friendlier than others but none were rude. The food always arrived without too much of a wait and a good temperature.

Went for the Xmas dinner and I must say it far surpassed my expectations! Lovely turkey, not compressed roll, crispy roasts, Yorkshire pudding and a good selection of veg. For a chain pub it's the best I've had. The staff were very helpful. The waiter said they were surprised how popular this meal has been. Having tasted it, I'm not surprised. Highly recommend.

We took our son and 2 2x grandchildren on Easter Friday and many times before. We was served by a lady called Deny and chef Joes Isophie the food was good, delicious and tasty, the service was excellent she was very friendly and polite.

Three starters and four mains from the lunch menu for under ÂŁ40 is great value. Potato dippers were the standout, a lighter option to loaded skins, all the taste without the heavy potato.
The rump steaks exceeded expectation, no fatty parts or gristle. Nothing left on the plates at all. Skinny fries loved by the children, triple cooked chips enjoyed by the adults. Salad was fresh, spot on.
Ambience was pleasant, not too busy midweek though enough to have some background buzz. A very good experience.

Party of 10 catered for, and everyone enjoyed it. Generous portions, and all things considered, not too expensive. Possibly could have been a little quicker, but the place was full, and all our food came at the same time.

Greeted and seated including wheelchair. Perfect service. Good disabled toilet.
Turkey roast very nice but too much for me.

I enjoyed a lovely Festive Turkey Dinner with my Auntie on Monday 28th November and I couldn't fault the food, service or atmosphere we had a very relaxing experience. I would recommend coming here for their lovely food. Here is a photo of our meals đ

My partner and I were out for a ride on my motorcycle on Sunday to Alton waters we passed the Beefeater on way there and decided to stop on the way back and I'm very glad we did it rounded off a brilliant day out. We were seated quickly. I want to mention our waiter (Josh ) he was brilliant, took an interest in our day out, made the right amount of conversation, he was very polite, made sure everything was good with our order and quickly got our drinks and refills. As someone that has worked in the industry he would be someone I would have wanted working at my restaurant. Menu choice is excellent. It was nice to see food on the menu that were similar to what every other restaurant does but with a little difference. My wife had the slow cooked roast beef which looked great and she said tasted excellent the roast pots and Yorkshire where brilliant. I had the Tabasco chicken burger with fries. I think it was really really good. Loved the flavour it was well presented neither the burger or the fries were greasy which again is good to see. I was offered more fries because the are free refill!! I wanted to leave room for desert. My wife had the crumble with custard which was well presented and tasted really good. I had the trio of sponges with ice cream which tasted incredible. Shame no refills on the desert. But I was full. The cost was similar to other restaurants I've been to when you look at the menu in comparison. But the main thing is the food is great. Quality of food to cost ratio is definitely balanced well. Everything was very clean, table, cutlery, menus and salt and pepper grinders. Really impressed for such a busy place.
The bad part which was the carpet upstairs could do with a new one. That's it!
Thank you again the beefeater and Josh for a brilliant experience.

I got to say I was very impressed with the service and quality of food and drinks
The staff went above and beyond for us a party of nine, originally we were told they couldnât accommodate us at such short notice but the staff went into overdrive to fit us in and we were sorted, I can honestly say the staff are a credit to the company, very friendly and so helpful,
The food was excellent, I would highly recommend

Drinks were offline! Order at bar. Food was fine. But nothing special. Service was friendly. Served a purpose.

We come here for breakfast, my son ate for free and when they say it's all you can eat they mean it! Three breakfasts and lots of drinks for less than ÂŁ20 and tasted lovely.
Good quality foods used!
We will be going back!
They have a reward card system aswell!

Booked table for 3 people for 5.15pm, took order then waited hour for 2 kids meals and one main meal. Kids steak burnt, chips cold! Other kids meal chicken burger meat burnt, beans stuck to bowl couldnât get them out! Then to top it off either chicken bone or prawn shelling in my vegetable lasagne! 10 minutes after meal brought out get sauces, 20 minutes after that got refill on drinks. Normally donât complain but that was worst meal we have ever been served. Got one kids meal and main meal knocked of bill which I appreciated but would of rather had decent food and not 2 hungry kids and an adult ïżœïżœ

The service was dreadful. We were there a full 10 minutes and even then had to chase down a waitress in order to get menus. In fact we had to chase down a waitress everytime we wanted something.
Their idea of catering is a joke. One example.
Order: 1 pot of tea ÂŁ2.00.
1) Pot not even half full of water.
2) Water not boiling.
3) No pot of water for top up.
4) No teaspoon offered.
5)Tea cup did not fit saucer. The base of the cup being too big for the well in the saucer.
Pointless to go on, but you get the picture!
Such a shame as it was nice to see such an extensive menu.

Well I have to say I wasnât really looking forward to todays meal as never been here and some reviews werenât great . Have to say it was the best steak I've had in a long time!! As for the Mississippi mud pie.........wow!! The service was excellent with very polite staff &, although it was really busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food!! I will definitely coming again & booking our staff Christmas meal here this year!! Thanku x

Me and my family enjoys going here, it my parents favourite place to eat with the family. The refurb looks great, and we enjoy the new menu and really enjoy the desserts. As for the staff they are very welcoming smiley and looks after us well, especially our waitress Laura. Thank you. The Evelyn family.x

Our waitress this afternoon was amazing couldnât fault her, but the food was under-par for the price. I ordered the new halloumi salad for ÂŁ10.99. The salad contained at most 4 small squares of halloumi so was very disappointed. The puddings really need some love too, a pud should leave you feeling special, all of ours looked chucked at the bowl at best. Such a shame, till today I had fond memories of the Oyster Reach xx

Food wasnât great fillet steak overdone make sure you order extra fries that are free when youâre meal is delivered or you will clean your plate before they arrive I agree with other reviews has gone down hill quite a bit

We had a party for 22 last night and had Paula as our waitress .... She was amazing and coped really well such a lovely lady and a bubbly personality .... Must admit we did wait quite a while for food and didn't get our mains until an hour and 40 after we had arrived .... We had a nice area upstairs so the kids could at least run around a bit whilst waiting ... :)
