Second week have attacked the new Fish and Chip Menu. If anything it was better than first week. The Skate was full of flesh Scampi was large pieces The batter was crisp and tasty a substantial portion of great chips. Shotley residents support our local.

First visit to this lovely pub for my sister’s birthday. Sarah is absolutely fantastic, brilliant publican they serve, fabulous food with a smile. Nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend a visit x

Superb homely traditional pub.
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by friendly and warm landlady.
If you are nice, Sarah, she will give you extra plum tomatoes and sausage with your fry up 😊

When you walk in you are always welcomed with friendly staff and surrounding. The food is a perfect 5 stars by far for what you are paying, nothing I can say will turn you away if you want a good pub meal and drink.
Also events that goes on here like cars meets, fun days etc makes me want to keep coming back.
Well done to Sarah the landlady and Jamie for running a great all round pub :)
