Just popped into the wildman for a meal as haven't been able to go for some time and was delighted that the food, atmosphere and staff are all still excellent. We settled for the carvery and the beef was cooked to perfection, the pork was succulent and the vegetables were very hot and tasty. I had the gluten free Yorkshire and gravy which were very good. We decided not to have desert this time since the meal had satisfied our appetites but we could see there was a good selection being enjoyed by the families at the other tables. Was nice to be back so will be visiting again soon.
11 out of 10 for service. Super friendly and helpful staff. My wife is gluten free and dairy free and they had a lot of options and the lady was extremely helpful in navigating the menu. Burgers were good and the chips were fantastic! Definite recommend if you’re in the area.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Menu had a great selection of different dishes & had offers on . Accommodated very well for children. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I would go back again & next time I shall try their Sunday lunch. Definitely worth going, nothing isn't to much for the staff.
We booked a table for 9 for my mums birthday. Service was outstanding. Friendly staff and accommodating of children. Food was amazing. Beat Sunday roast in many a mile. Highly highly recommended.
What a lovely birthday meal tonight. Went to the Wild Man with family. The food was really good, the atmosphere great and the service first class as always. Marta made us feel really welcome and had even decorated the table for my birthday. Really appreciated! I would recommend going here for a special occasion.
Been coming here since the new land lady took over, staff are always welcoming and friendly, the carvery is also lovely!
In regards to a previous review I have never smelt weed and they have gotten the land lady completely wrong. I'm not comfortable going to most pubs but I really enjoy The Wild Man! Would definitely recommend. :)
After reading certain reviews we were apprehensive about our Sunday dinner but we needn't have been, it was fantastic. The young waitress greeted us with a friendly smile, showing us to our table, after asking which table we preferred, gave us the menus and took our drinks order which came after just a couple of minutes. We both decided to have the carvery, which was beautifully cooked, the beef was lovely and tender, the turkey moist. Very good choice of veg, cooked well. The young man carving the meat was also very friendly, apologising to us because we had to wait while he went to get the turkey from the oven. All in all a very good Sunday meal, friendly staff, friendly landlady, good plentiful food. What more could you want?? Oh yes, the beer's good too
Visited for the carvery.. Choice of three meats or a mixture and excellent selection of vegetables. Meat was tender and veggies were good. Would have given five stars but deducted one as Yorkshire pudding was cold.
They were very busy but made us feel very welcome. We were a party of 10 which we changed at the last minute and they were very accommodating. The service was very friendly. The food was lovely too. Would definitely recommend and will be going back . Thank you
Went for Family celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious carvery plenty of choice and more just kept coming. Lovely friendly carver. Pudding was lovely too. We were fit t'bust and very happy.
