The Outlook Ipswich

Lovely place for breakfast. Google maps will take you to the right place - but not where you should park! Genuine tea pot was a nice touch, shame the spout dripped when pouring - though this could have easily been used error! Staff were polite and attentive, food prep was super quick and my Eggs Royale were 😋. Lovely view of the marina from inside, will be even better sitting outside if/when the summer arrives. My extremely minor moans would be that the cheesy Muzak was a little loud for my liking, only one tea bag in the pot which was also a little chipped. All first world problems indeed, and absolutely nothing that would stop me recommending this place... Fully intend to return in the summer. 🌞

Staff friendly, welcoming and a nice warm atmosphere. Not the most extensive of menus but had a good Specials board and I found no trouble in choosing something. Food was reasonably priced, portion size was plenty (and I have a large appetite). It was hot on arrival and arrived very quickly after ordering. I had hoped to have the strawberry cheesecake with white chocolate for dessert but unfortunately I hadn't left enough space for this. Well worth a look especially on a day when you can sit outside.

We visited The Outlook Café enroute to an event nearby it's front door. With time as the essence there was only time for a quick coffee before we had to move on. Nevertheless there was time to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere the Café provided. Our drinks were if good quality and we were able to see diners enjoying full English breakfasts. Impressed by the cleanliness and service it was resolved to return one day to sample the cafés fare whilst enjoying the view over Fox's Marina. We will return!
