Great pub for a meal or drink. Good service and a wide range of food and drink. They also had live entertainment on the Friday we were there.

I went here for dinner last week. The food was delicious. I loved the quaint atmosphere and the log burner that was on in the background. Service wasn't all great, and that was purely an unmanned bar, I waited initially to place an order and then I waited well over 5 minutes wanting to pay for the new meal. I found this rather frustrating

A beautiful clean friendly hotel. Dinner last night Caribbean beef stew excellent and breakfast this morning was superb. Would definitely stay there again.

We booked to have our 6th Anniversary meal here whilst we were visiting Ironbridge and were very pleased with our choice. The food was lovely and the service was superb. Although I think my wife would have preferred it if I wasn't watching the England V Argentina rugby world cup game on my phone whilst we had our meal.
After finishing our meal we sat on the terrace and had a few drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. All in all it was a great evening. Would definitely recommend.
We didnt have a room hence why I haven't given the rooms a star rating.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here on a Saturday night - need to book. Really nice - managed to squeeze us in as a walk- in for Sunday lunch at 1445 & it was very enjoyable. Good location.

Stayed here for 2 nights to visit Ironbridge attractions. Very pleasant stay with excellent breakfast included and also enjoyed a good evening meal. Nice view of the river from our room. One thing I didn't like was that no staff/owner stayed here overnight and no contact number was given for emergencies (apart from 999!).

Great place for a drink and lunch in the sun. The only thing that was lacking was possibly a bit of communication between the kitchen and waitresses as to where the food was to be taken. Great location and service was quick at the bar.

It's a good location and the food is honestly priced. It's not fine dining but it's ok and there's something on the menu for most folks.
Happy enough with service, quality and price. You won't, perhaps, be blown away and amazed or astonished ... but nor will you be disappointed 🙂 it's pretty much what you want and expect.
