Spoons #151 unusual in the fact that there is a car park adjacent to the he front door Very friendly staff, only had Apple crumble and a drink, maybe not the 6 minute target but was worth the wait Great central location for shopping Apparently more popular for food than for the drinkers We sat up on a nice bright mezzanine Had to go downstairs to the ground floor for the toilets, a little ironic 😂

I had the Ramen noodles today.. I have to say they were the best I've had ... I can't wait till next time I'm in Irvine to have them again.. Maybe they should show the weatherspoons in Largs how it should look and taste.. very tasty and filling... thank you

I am a Spoons fan and go to one wherever I am in the UK. The front of the property doesn't draw you in but it is very handy for the shopping centre and the bar inside is nicely laid out, airy and bright with plenty of space across two levels. I've read several reviews of the food and there have clearly been disappointments but Dad's burger was well cooked and he didn't complain. We limited ourselves to the refill coffees and, as someone else has said, at £1.45 a go, the value for money is unbeatable from my experience, especially when you just have to have that second cup. I normally have a pint or two of real ale but not today as driving. That said, the choice was great and I really like the initiative they have where they ask Customers to suggest ales they would like to see behind the bar. Dreamland. The staff were very friendly and helpful so thank you for that. In general the place was spotlessly clean and the toilets were whiff-free. That makes a big difference. Overall, I love what you do so please keep it up. Aye Fraser

I may have arrived at a bad time, 7.30pm as none of the few empty tables had been cleared or cleaned. And to be honest the place looked a bit of a mess. All credit to the manager, that after I asked for my table to be cleared he set about the others as well. I am a great fan of 'spoons, and they are my go to when travelling. I like using the app to order, that's really a plus. However of late whilst the quality of the meals is OK, it does seem that the portion size has been greatly reduced. Maybe in the current catering climate what arrives on the plate is fair value for the money, my pleasure at having my meals there is not what it once was. And that's a great pity!

A welcoming place of all ages on your own, a couple or group, Normal food cooked as you would cook it, I was ony my own 500 miles from home and felt at home.

One of the seats I was sitting on has had a lot of spillages (dried) on it, which I was quite uncomfortable about sitting on, as it looked like it has not been given a good clean but the place was busy and there was no other seats. But the staff are lovely and food is nice.

Not a bad spoons, although oddly located in a shopping centre. It looks better inside than outside, however. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast. What's not to like?

Good portions. I felt the chicken grilled burger could have been better. It was way too white instead of being char grilled. The taste wasn't bad though.
