The Wobbly Dog was a real highlight of our trip around the Islands- so much so we went twice, spending nearly 3 hours there the first time! Mark bakes THE best cakes I have have eaten, Sheila made a mean spicy carrot & lentil soup and Amy is an attentive & funny member of the team who also makes beautiful crafts for sale in the shop... as well as lovely food, including cooked breakfasts, here the coffee is exceptionally good. A lovely little book shelf to peruse and locally made crafts- we bought quite a few 'gifts for home' here. Honestly can't rate this place enough!! A pleasure to meet Archie- the wobbly dog!- too!!
We had the best cake at this cafe!! The chocolate one was to die for. The owner was so friendly and he made us feel so welcome. There are many fascinating items in his cafe most of which are for sale. Some are recovered antiques and some are made by locals. We found some true gems in there. I highly recommend this cafe if you're in Scotland!
The amazing place was recommended by Jenny from Uncles croft and what I find. We have two westies, and they were made so welcome it was so refreshing. We stopped for breakfast, and Mark was very understanding of my allergies. The coffee was lovely, and breakfast was simply magic. Our two doggies spilt a dog breakfast of lorne, egg and bacon, if was woofed super quick. Set us all up for our day. The next stop was the beach for walkies. I'm going to go back before we leave as it made a lasting impression. Might remember to take pictures next time.
