Really enjoyed this little cafe. The view from the outdoor tables is lovely! We arrived in the later afternoon after a busy morning, so the kitchen was closing early but the staff were very friendly and made sure we got our food order placed.

Quiddles on a paella night has to be booked in advance but is well worth it. For £7 you can prebook three different types of paella. I have dropped one star as seats are reserved, which is fine if you want tonsit on the beach and eat. There is usually some live music.

Very quaint local 'cafe' (the lunch we had was more restaurant standard than cafe!) We've been before and sat outside, but booked beforehand this time to sit inside due to the weather. Still had lovely views through the windows. I would say double check the opening times, and maybe book if you need to take shelter!

We went for a late breakfast, we had black pudding and bacon butties, two of us had coffee, my sister had wine. We did ask for crispy bacon, didn't get it though it was still tasty. The views are pretty good especially on a lovely morning, We were watching a rehearsal of the tempest on the sea wall. A very dog friendly place.

Great place to have some lunch as it has a spectacular view especially when the sea is rough. Staff friendly and polite. The problem is the speed that the food is delivered. I had to convince my stomach that my throat was not cut!!. They may say that the food is prepared fresh. Now I worked in my parents kitchen and prepared all the food fresh. Market porters would have walked out. How long does it take to make a simple panini??

This is the type of little gem of a fish restaurant you are hoping to find at a beach. Surfer Shack vibes, limited menu of fresh seafood dishes but also sandwiches for non- seafood eaters. I had mussels and sourdough bread, it was plenty and delicious.

Lovely place, great location. Service was very good. Food was good, over priced for the amount served (but this I guess is due to cost of living crisis). Scallops were lovely, Calamari was mainly batter and was stringy.

What's not to love. Great service, great food and a view across the sea and of Portland. Lovely. Worth the visit, even if it's just for tea and a piece of their scrummy cake. At the moment there is Table service outside and takeaway and use of the toilets. Also you can reserve a table to make sure you can sit down and enjoy the view.

Beautiful location at the portland end of the 19 mile stretch of the Chesil Beach. Many fresh fish dishes, home cooked cakes excellent coffee in a space designed to relax in next to the sea. Staff who were willing to serve you and share their smiles too! Yes, they worked as a team to deliver your chosen dish! Try it and find out for yourself, please enjoy! 😊
