Amazing food and service! We shared small plates and would definitely recommend this to sample all the beautiful dishes. The salsa on the oysters was one of the best ways I’ve ever had oysters. Lovely views even from the inside. Absolutely MUST visit if you’re on IOW, best meal we had during our trip. Would give 10 stars if I could.
Been to the island many times and tried lots of places. This was the first time we came here and it won't be the last. Before we get onto the food, the atmosphere of the place and the fantastic views are 10/10. The food was amazing . Can tell its a great restaurant straight away with not too much to choose from on the menu meaning every bit of thought and unreal effort is made to perfect each dish.
I had the steak and bone marrow burger. My partner the katsu chicken and her mother the fish. Every dish looked elegant and amazing and tasted delicious.
This is a must try for all who visit to the Island
We went for our Anniversary and we had an incredible experience. What an amazing team that were super friendly, helpful and polite. Food was stunning! Well presented & tasted great not just amazing to eat but to look at too. A meal for your eyes as well as your stomach. 100% going there again, wonderful hidden gem!

Visiting from texas and HAD to find oysters! Found them here and they were delicious ! Their website and google could REALLY use updating, as far as hours available to eat etc. but they do accept walk ins all day I think to eat, obviously depending on availability. My kids and I enjoyed a beautiful sunset while we enjoyed our meal. I let them know it was my sons 8th birthday and they brought desert with a candle and sang to him it was so sweet and really cool! The woman also offered to record on my phone so I could be in the video as well, such kind staff! Food was really good as well!!
Fabulous service, lovely seating area's. We had the vegan tower , the 'cadet- taste of the sea' and the pork knuckle...lots of choices if you are vegan or if you don't eat fish. My one -comment would be for more utensils ie lobster forks and claw crackers but the food was well prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails are great. An enjoyable afternoon. Many thanks.
Had a great lunch here (September '20). The menu is really interesting and the sushi of the day was particularly good. The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful.
Great views over the Solent obviously and perfect for a sunny day. Was a bit windy outside, but they offered to move me inside if needed. Booked a late lunch at 2pm and did not feel rushed even though they were winding down after their lunch service.
No obvious Covid measures, although they obviously had my details from the booking. Ample space inside and out. Do book in advance if possible.
This place is so unassuming, you don't expect you'll be eating such delicious food when you arrive and then every plate is good enough to give out a moan in joy. We didn't ask but this must be a Michelin star chef that had a dream to start their own restaurant and were the lucky first to eat here before this place blows up! I rarely give out 5 star but this place deserves it. (Make sure to call to book a table and good luck finding it by car it's a bit of a neightmare)
Great food, lovely staff and amazing view. Simply you won't regret it. And you'll in for a treat if your waitress is India or Annabelle!

What a great find, we were visiting for a wedding and were struggling to find some where for lunch that was not fully booked. Cadet beach club was amazing from the moment we arrived, this restaurant is hidden behind some water works that are happening along ryde beach luckily for us!
Friday lunch time I imaging normally this place would be packed, but the works which are over running are having an effect on trade by the looks of it!
The staff all well presented and helpful even assisting in carrying our buggy upstairs. Fantastic menu we were spoilt for choice, and were very accommodating of my wife’s dairy free diet.
I had salt n pepper squid to start crispy with nice heat from fresh chilli garnish and my wife had the pork belly which was well presented and melted in your mouth, sweet and stick glaze!
I had classic lobster and garlic butter which was perfectly cooked and a good size, served with a nice slaw and fries with a great seasoning.
My wife had the pad Thai which she swapped the tofu for chicken with out a fuss from the attentive staff. A huge portion arrived with again was well balanced, and tasty even when full she couldn’t stop picking at it.
I would highly recommend, good value for money and great portion sizes, we had a couple of beers and nice glass of Provençal rose. Looking forward to our next visit to the island. Make sure you give this place a try !
