Great Sunday roast, beef only, really good value. Large gravy boat and mixed veg. Fixed menu which I really like.
Great place to eat. Cosy, warm welcome, and you cannot beat the daily specials. When you phone up to book, you will be asked whether you want the speciality of the day; my advice is that you say Yes! Because if you say no, you won't be able to choose it on the day. Our family keeps returning to this amazing, quirky, lovely place.

Friendly enough staff. My main gripe was ordering Cod and Chips for £15 only to be presented with something that must have just come straight out of a box (including batter). Not what I was expecting and very disappointing. Would not go back.
A fantastic ‘proper’ local pub. Amazing landlord and landlady, great atmosphere and reliably always open!!! An absolute gem of a place, don’t change!
