Came across it randomly on Google as was listed Dog Friendly, absolutely amazing food and all so fresh and seasoned perfectly and home made too, and the staff were great, other dogs and owners so friendly and hopefully when we are back in the area will be there again, if only we didn't live 90 minutes away ☹️

Little did I know such a perfect gem existed in the borders. Award winning and local beer flows fresh from the taps like the ambrosia of the gods themselves.
The food is that ideal combination of pub goodness and local produce that produces a little bit of magic on your plate.
Needless to say the food and drink is complimented by the friendly, competent and knowledgeable staff.
I can't recommend the Ancrum Cross Keys enough...

Lovely lunch here again today.
Food excellent. Staff helpful in accomodating my sister who uses a mobility scooter. She says big 10/10 from her roast gammon was delicious and creme brulee was yummy.

Superb food and excellent service. Chef is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the area :)
