The Carvery is amazing on a Sunday. You need to book as really busy. Service good and staff always friendly and helpful.

You only get the table for 1 1/2 hours which is ridiculous, they could at least make it 2 hours. We wanted to buy another bottle of wine but didn’t have enough time to drink it. The ticket system is a bit iffy although the Carvery food itself was okay. We were visitors not campers so will probably not go back as there are so many nicer restaurants in the Borders.

For a caravan site restaurant this is gorgeous, all the trees and greenery adorned with flowers are gorgeous! The carvery on a Sunday is amazing, such a lot of choice, all fresh nothing lying too long everything looked so nice! The staff were all lovely chatty and friendly and happy!! We ate in here a couple of times during our stay, the fish and chips were also lovely, batter on my fish was yummy! So crispy!

The wings are amazing! Lovely food but great service from Chelsea and Kirsty. Will deffo be back! Kids loved the park and the treats waffles from the treat van.

Had never been here since way before Covid, called in just by chance for a Meal, Staff were so helpful in finding us a Table The only option was the Sunday Carvery, Oh my God to its to Die and the Sweets are absolutely Amazing, Definitely will be back soon.

Went for dinner on 15th September, celebrating a birthday. Delicious food served by very friendly and attentive staff. Had sweet potato, celery & thyme soup, chicken tikka masala, ribeye steak, crème brûlée. All of the food was very much enjoyed. Many thanks to all. We'll be back.

We took the family for a Sunday Carvery, the food was truly amazing, the staff were very attentive to our needs even though the establishment was extremely busy, very polite. We highly recommend The Tavern.
