Mcdonald's

It was late evening when I visited, after a concert, and although busy, service was much much slower than I would have expected. Given the delay, I was less inclined to make allowances for the quality of what is usually termed "fast food". I can't help thinking that the decline in standards and speed across this and other outlets, is linked to the ever increasing range of dishes served. It even makes it harder to select from the bewildering combination of meals offered, unless perhaps one was a more frequent visitor.

There are a range of food outlets at this motorway services stopover. We chose a lunch at the cornish pasty outlet but there was also a Costa Coffee as well as the Macdonalds and W H Smiths. . Indoor and outdoor seating by a small loch with a walk and lovely views. Toilets were accessible and clean. Car park was quite busy.
