Toby Carvery

I've been coming to Toby carvery for many years up, and up 3 or 4 times per week. I'm very disabled, because of which staff see to my every needs without hesitance. Ben the general manager, Amanda Lisa even sherell the cleaner have helped. The breakfasts are amazing, I love the bacon, the carvery are to die for, value for money. I've designated a well deserved 5 star, anyone who have never been, may I suggest paying a visit. Thankyou to all staff members, especially to Ben and Amanda.

My wife and I have been visiting this location, usually for lunch, many a year and have always been pleased with the food. Occasionally the choice of 4 meats can be cut to 3 and the veg a little dry. They depend on a very good and fast turnover of dishes to keep all of them looking appertising which is usually the case. However one thing does not vary and that's the staff. In partucular Amanda and her husband are always great. Friendly and very helpful. They are also always cheerful. It's always a pleasure to go and enjoy ourselves.

A good example of a Toby Carvery. Tried on a Wednesday evening and it was fully booked! Went back after booking a couple of days later and all was as you'd expect from a Toby. Good roasts and lots of fresh veg along with all the gravy. One star knocked off for service as i got forgotten about for quite a long time when trying to pay my bill.

We didn’t book but got a very warm welcome from Gill and Harri, there was only 2 of us so only had to wait 10 mins for a table. Headed to the bar where we were greeted by Aaron who was very friendly. Food was excellent, staff were brilliant, Isobelle and Joanna were very attentive during service. Our carver Jacob was lovely too, great atmosphere, an all round great experience.

You need to cook the beef, not everyone like eating meat or hat is pink and beading. Honey roast parsnips would be nice. This is the fist time I have been in a while as you normally don't cook the beef how I like and there is more meat in service station sandwich. This visit the amount of meat was good but the beef was not cooked enough for us.
