Went for a couple of coffees with a friend. I drink batch filter coffee most days and was starting to feel a bit deflated with the whole coffee experience.
True to their name, Kapow smacked me round the chops with probably the best pour over coffees I've ever had. My god it was delicious.

Nice coffee and great interior decoration in a fantastic location. Wish the milk for the coffee could be a bit on the higher quality, maybe organic, and . But there again coffee is best appreciated black or dense such as machiatto and the like, typically on its own. They also sell a wide range of specialty coffee beans.

Must be the best coffee in Leeds!
Four different pour-over options and a good cake and croissant selection.
Well worth heading upstairs as more seating with lovely light coming through from the arcade window.

Very special little coffee spot. Full of games and anime themes. Can tell that the owner must be really into anime.
Ordered matcha latte. Very authentic pure matcha with no added sugar.
Croissant might be a bit dry for some people, but it’s just right for me. Perfect to match a milky drink.
The price is quite decent as well, especially considering its location.

Had coffee & sweet snacks here today. The flapjack & chocolate brownie were substantial and amazing. My flat white was delicious, but lukewarm. Nice vibe here and interesting rustic decor. I will return, but I will ask for a piping hot coffee!

I loved the vibes of this little local coffee shop! And I would totally buy their beans to take home if I were at the tail end of my trip.
It’s too cozy and warm inside for our liking, and we were lucky to get an outside table where we sat to chill and watch the world strolled by (as well as an odd man in boots marching twice past us…)

The best selection for coffee roasters in the whole of Leeds! Always getting different and unique roasters in and plenty to choose from. Really knowledgeable staff and always a delicious cup no matter what you order. Their batch brew is always tasty and they offer a great guest espresso.

Lovely little cafe! The coffee was nice, of course! The staff was so kind. I like everything about this place that makes me feel comfortable. There are more seats upstairs, the toilet is also upstairs.

Can easily see why this place is ranked do highly. We only visited for coffee on this trip but the coffee really was excellent. The cakes and baked selection looked great too.
I love that it's so quirky. Don't be put off if the downstairs is full, the real comment seats (and the bookshelf) are up a narrow staircase.
We don't live in Leeds but visit every now and then. Next time we're in Leeds, we'll be going back to Kapow for sure.
