I ordered a cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I got exactly what was asked for (and she was really touched with the wee extras of music notes which was a surprise). Cake was delicious and i would definitely recommend a cake from here. Everybody who has had a bit of cake has commented on how delicious it was.
Ordered an Engagement cake. Looked and tasted amazing. Great comments from everyone. Thank you for excellent service. Highly recommend
This is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Highlands. The distillery is conducting tours, tastings and free samplings. It is a home of the Chivas Regal. Hence, 90-95% of whiskeys are going into the blend. However, the remaining 5-10% are excellent sweet and balanced single malt whisky. The palate is sweet, fruity, heather honey flavour with some nuttiness and perfectly balanced.
a great traditional distillery with well-known prices compared to other distilleries. Here, there is no tendency to trick the customer and charge higher prices than in the supermarket. Great fun exploring and tasting 3 whiskeys for £20. I bought glasses and 2 bottles of whiskey myself. An interesting fact for me was that mixed whiskey is not so easy to make and I have a different perspective on it now.
We've visited several distilleries, this was the most interesting, informative and enjoyable so far. Our guide Briony was superb, combining information, warmth and bubbly personality to great effect. The whisky tasting end to the tour was made more meaningful by the way she conducted it. Top marks!
This was our first distillery tour ever, and it set a really high bar. Briony was our tour guide, and she was fantastic!
The distillery is beautiful, and frankly if we don't get to do another tour for all of our time in Scotland, that's ok, because we had such a great time there.
If you're driving, they will put your samples in wee bottles to take a drink later.
Also, sign up for their newsletter, and they give you a free mini bottle of Regal!
Enjoyable tour though a bit less polished than the other distilleries. You also get to see the more traditional side to whisky making and history. Tasting is also less rushed unlike others.
Absolutely loved the tour!! The guide was knowledgeable and explained the process of making whisky from grain to glass 😊👌
This is a really beautiful store with really friendly and helpful staff!
As you would imagine their is a great choice of different whiskey from both this distillery and sister distilleries . The staff are more than accommodating if you wish to try a sip! And there are flights available for those who are not driving!
When we called in, it was fairly quiet. Enough people were visiting so that you didn't feel awkward but not too many that it felt crowded!
Lovely bar area! Even if you think you don't like whisky call in! You may be surprised.
Alice, thank you so much for this amazing tour! You made us understand whisky manufacturing but also you transfer your love this drink! Your histories were plenty of interesting information and curiosity! Thank you!
We had a tour one Saturday morning and were badly in need of some coffee; we were heartwarmingly cared for, thank you once more!
About the tour, we found it to be very interesting, lots of new things -and flavours- to uncover.
We are hoping to visit there again in spring
The Home of Chivas tour was amazing.
Our tour our guide Carys was welcoming very informative and genuinely loved her job she made the tour with her enthusiasm.
I throughly enjoyed creating our own blend at the end of the tour smelling all the different malts and a grain.
Considering I don't drink whisky at all it was alot of fun smelling the notes and blending my own to take home .
My husband and friends throughly enjoyed the tasting.
