Wow this place is absolutely fab! We have just had a lovely lunch. The food is delicious, my partner had a 100% steak burger in a stone baked roll with chips in a basket and very fresh salad. The lamb steak with garlic and herb mash and sweet red cabbage is also lovely! This newly renovated pub has a new chic theme with new carpets and is painted with lovely greys and creams. The staff are very friendly. People must come back to this pub, it’s just fabulous now it’s been taken over- Thank you Tavern staff!

Huge serving with great food.
Fish and chips (with cod fish) and meal in a basket are both good. Toilet is clean and the restaurant is just short drive from the main road.
I did not try the beer, but I believe this is good place for a drink due to good ambience and friendly services.

Visited Kemble to go to Cotswold Airport and on the way back thought about getting food.
Ended up visiting The Tavern Inn, which I'm glad I did. It was a Sunday, and they had a roast menu on. Being a veggie I thought it would be the usual nut roast, which isn't the most exciting thing. Instead they had cauli and broccoli cheese as opposed to a nut roast. It was amazing.
Roast was fantastic, as was the venue itself. Good range of ciders, great food. Would definitely come back again.
Plus there is a large outside area with a play area.
Lovely building, friendly staff, quick service, good atmosphere, kid + dog friendly. The Sunday Roast was delicious! Well worth a visit.
Went as a table of 4 for Sunday lunch, booked via messenger, as I couldn’t get through on the phone. Huge portions and very tasty roast, the blackberry and apple crumble for pudding was delicious. The main was slow to come, but they were busy so understandable. Friendly service, and very reasonably priced. Lovely country pub. We’ll be back!

Absolutely lovely roast dinner with a veggie option too. We have an 8 year old who isn't keen on roasts so it was perfect as they also did basket meals on a Sunday. From the carpark you can also see Kemble Airport which is a winner 😁😁 definitely recommend!!!!
Really lovely situated railway station tavern with very warm and welcoming staff who were ever present with a smile and a kind joke as they served me. I was early off the train from London Paddington so I had a quick cider and while I was there a series of live folk-rock bands playing old Beatles songs & Coldplay entertained families seated in the open air beer garden of overturned beer barrels. Real treat while I waited for my lift.
Can’t comment on food or menu, but for my 20 minute stay it lifted my spirits on a sunny May Day.

The pub is perfectly located right next to the train station. A perfect spot for a Sunday roast. The staff were all very friendly and the food was amazing.

Excellent burger and lovely chips at Thursday bike night. Took my own onion the second visit this year as the first time they ran out of onions. 😂 The staff are very hard working and very accommodating to the large crowd that descends on what is a small team.
