What a lovely place. My first visit was for Sunday lunch and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly. Food was delicious and great value for money. Would definetly recommend coming here. �
I was there with a group of people for dinner, it's a lovely pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent as was the service. I would highly recommend for any occasion or even just for a drink !..well worth a visit .
The only pub in the small village of Kempsford, well worth a visit. This small village pub serves outstanding quality food and provides excellent service. The food is delicious, freshly prepared and cooked on site means that it can be easily customised by the chef to suit dietary requirements.
Staff are super friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that you’re being taken care of. With all of this taken into account, the prices are very reasonable and I’d highly recommend coming here!
Beautiful old Village pub. 1st visit in about 40 years as my Grandparents used to live close by when I was little. Bar staff were very polite and the food looked amazing. Will have to come back again to sample.

Great place, delicious food. Traditional pub with a tasty and reasonable menu. The pie and mash for dinner was incredible and don’t miss out on the rhubarb crumble. The staff are lovely and the service was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble.
Excellent busy pub, however the staff were efficient and friendly. Very well cooked Sunday lunch and a healthy portion . I had the roast pork, my colleague had the fish and chips. We both left feeling well fed and very happy with the service.
The best meal I have had in a long, long time. My wife and I popped out to have a quick bite, as we're camping for RIAT, and ended up having three courses because the food was so good. I was in the Royal Navy as chef & caterer for 22 years, leaving as a Senior Rate, and the steak I had tonight is the best steak I have ever eaten. The staff were amazing, very friendly
I have been visiting England regularly for over 30 years. The George has always been my favourite. Emie is a wonderful host and Roger’s cooking is amazing!
We haven't been to this establishment for a number of years but now we will make it at least once a month. The food was top notch 👌 😋 👍 👏 the service was excellent and the chef and landlady were excellent aswell .If you haven't been here before then you must come here .Three courses for £20 was amazing as was the food.
Enjoyed a leisurely lunch here with friends. Good food and great Arkells beer and a welcoming team, what more could you ask for.
Great little pub, with welcoming staff, the food is delicious too ( we only had a burger yesterday, was burger night) an not far from RAF Fairford so if lucky can see some Army planes
Not sure was the landlady I met yesterday but she was amazing an very helpful, accommodating, atmosphere was really welcoming, if you live near there or are in the area do visit
