I had a bar meal here with some friends on Tuesday. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food was delicious with quick service and the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this establishment.
We ate here on a Saturday night and booked in advance. A lovely dog friendly pub which serves tasty food. Highly recommend the Cumberland Sausage and Mash. Great childrens menu.
The manager was very nice and friendly. Decent beers and choice of food. Rooms decent for the price. Breakfast tasty and filling. Great country type pub that I'd visit again.
A village pub tucked away in a quite remote hamlet, it goes to show that if you're good you'll have customers. We went for a Sunday lunch, we were put in the conservatory which felt a bit bland and would have preferred the main pub area (divided into various areas) but obviously we were at the tail
Great locals pub which although part of a chain doesn’t feel like it. Staff were friendly, helpful and seemed like a happy team. Fresh milk for tea/coffee instead of UHT was a nice touch & the shower was excellent Goodfod & beer / wine
Stopped while passing through due to main road being closed and glad we did .wonderful cosy country pub with friendly staff good selection of alcoholic drinks and a fantastic food menu. Visited during stay in Kendal. Beautiful food, fantastic service and atmosphere and dog friendly which is a huge bonus for us 😊thank you. Didn't stay so can't comment on rooms.
