Best night out in ages. Evening meal on a Monday night. Starters & mains were beautiful mozzarella salad, fish n chips & veggie burger), prepared with skill, care & really good ingredients, together with very nice & reasonably priced wine, all delivered with courtesy & personality. Highly recommended 🙂

Had a fabulous Sunday roast with the family. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was excellent. Definitely recommend this place for Sunday lunch.

We stopped by on the off chance and we were very pleasantly surprised , having never been here before we found the staff very accommodating and the food we chose was very nice indeed , a welcome break from our journey , we will definitely be back.

Visited for a family evening meal. Service was attentive but not intrusive.
The quality food was well presented and cooked to perfection. The best Pub food I have ever been served. Definitely going to revisit. Thank you to all the staff for ensuring that we enjoyed a memorable evening.

We just popped in for some food on a rainy day, we were warmly greeted with a rustic pub, friendly staff and a wood burning fireplace. The food was lovely and came quickly and it was very peaceful.

Wow what a lovely venue, just right for a relaxing couple of days away from work.
Bar staff both day and evening were very welcoming and friendly.
Lovely cosy venue and the food was amazing, prices were very reasonable and the selection of drinks and food was a wide variety and plentiful.
Room was lovely and no issues with heating for the time of year, very clean, shower easy to use and both setting are ideal.
TV small but saying that there is plenty of channels so I would rather comprise on size then quality.
Excellent night sleep bed and bedding was just right. Good time for breakfast which is excellent, see pictures for full breakfast, again very filling.

Andy was a complete gent and allowed us to cancel our booking due to the severe snow. He was really kind and polite and restored our faith in humanity! We will return, probably in Summer though!
