Called in today while on a day trip, ordered a battered haggis, was cooked fresh and was the best haggis i’ve had, very tasty and was coated in lovely well cooked batter, staff were very pleasant and friendly too, will be back for more when in the area.
Fish was freshly cooked, but not well drained (oil leaked through the card box and the paper bag onto clothing on the way home.) Chips were okay. The server was very polite and efficient - he used hand cleanser between tasks. I was concerned about the cook's hygiene - while standing by the food she
Dined in and the portion was huge. Beautiful fish (very large) in lovely batter. Would definitely eat ghere again if visiting Kendal.
