What can I say about this great place never met two more nicer and passionate owners. I go here at least once a week and it's fair to say I've tried almost everything on the menu and never ever had a bad meal yet. I had my works Christmas due here back in December for 20 people and truly well looked after with fantastic friendly staff. If you like a great curry and reasonably priced this really is the best place in Kendal to go!

Had a fantastic meal at the Eastern Balti Kendal last night, food was excellent and the staff were really friendly, been there a few times and can't praise it enough, will definitely be back again.

I have been in Kendal since 2018 I normally use a different restaurant for Indian food. Just tried this place by chance and wow 10% discount for cash collection. I just called them after finishing my food, think he thought I was going to moan. I actually called to say how nice there food was. So if you are looking for authentic Indian food this gets a 10 from Len or me on this occasion a++

Cosy restaurant, delicious food and really popular place. Lovely mocktails! Such a dedicated owner who works so hard, wish the business the best in the future and will visit next time we visit the areas!

Great food and staff. I liked the look of a meal but worried it would be too spicy but no worries they offered to make it mild for me and it was delicious. Thanks.

A jewel in the Lake District. The food here puts a lot of london indian restaurants to shame. Chicken tikka rajasthani was excellent , all the food fresh and tasted of individual spices. And absolutely lovely nephew and uncle team running it. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Booked a table for 5 people but they had overbooked had to sit right next to the door on a table for 4 set with 5 places. Food was excellent though.

I was in the area about three weeks ago and I found this place whilst I was searching for a halal Indian/Asian restaurant. The food is exceptionally tasty and the service was good too, but they should avoid putting too much colour on their food otherwise it’s a great restaurant.

Best place for indian food. Vegetarian food was excellent. Its exactly the way it tasted back in India. Spicy and oily and masaledaar. We took a takeaway for 8 people and had a lot left over.. So much was proportion. Loved the food. Non veg cocktail, chicken biriyani, veg biriyani, veg fried rice mixed veg curry and mushroom bhaji. All were 😋 yummy.
