stayed in Kendal for family gathering so decided to eat at pizza express,the staff really friendly at gave the kids pens pencils and paper to play with when seated,there was a group of 10 of us and we all enjoyed our food,not too expensive either,will visit again if in the area,

Placed a collection order and within half an hour was picking it up. Friendly staff on arrival and food was really nice. Would recommend!
We booked a table for 8 to celebrate my sons birthday. When we arrived we asked to add another 2 people, which was no problem at all.
We were really well looked after by Alex and Cat. They were friendly and great with all the kids. After our starters, they brought dough out for the kids to roll and shape.
All the kids were happy, so it was a great success.

This our favourite place. The prices are great. Even more so with the loyalty programme. The food is just, beautiful.
On this visit we had the opportunity of meeting the larger than life manager who was amazing and our server Alex was fabulous also. The manager treated us very generously as a new years gift.
There's not much more to say. We travel 70+ miles a few times a month just for this place, food and staff! We've done this for well over a year. If that's not an endorsement I don't know what is!!!

Absolutely faultless
Emma, well where do I start. Instant welcome when you enter the restaurant. Quick to take your orders but also not pushy and gives you time. Only waitress on today but still continued to make us feel important. As soon as we ordered she straight aware made us aware of the app which saved us £11ish so that was fab.
Ordered our food and we had dough balls to share then we both had a American classic and wow, the flavour, taste, freshness was on point. Told Emma to make the female chef aware it was the best food in a pizza express we had ever been to!
Then towards the end of us finishing our mains I think the manager came onto the floor (think was doing interviews or something) and straight away was on board to help Emma out as started to get a bit busier.
Throughout all of this Emma stayed calm and collected, no stress, friendly and welcoming and just overall a lovely person!
She is an asset to your team, same as the chef you had on today!
Best food and atmosphereI have ever had in a pizza express before and the food was exceptional. Even writing this I don't feel is enough of a praise to how good our experience was!

I have just spent a lovely evening at the Kendal Pizza Express. The place was packed and buzzing with atmosphere. Although they were a few members of staff short, those that were there held it all together delivering professional table service with a smile. Our waiter Alex was particularly attentive and juggled everything with a tip top professionalism that was beyond his years. Well done Alex and team.
This is my absolute favourite pizza express restaurant! The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! All staff are always efficient and ensure incredible service is delivered. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat!
Good food, and excellent service. Despite being super-busy early (6pm) on a Friday evening, Pizza Express Kendal managed to fit us (me, my wife and our 14yo) in. We were served by Alex, who was an absolute delight: friendly, laid-back and attentive. I do hope the manager lets him know what a great job he does, and that this review counts towards any incentive schemes they have. The food was great too: our 14yo wants me to mention how delicious the mozzarella garlic bread starter was, my wife really enjoyed her cannelloni, and I was a big fan of the honeycomb cream slice. We'll be back soon.
Popped in for an evening meal while staying nearby. Wife and I went for a couple of pizzas from the Romana base menu, kids had the kids menu. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Service was great. My wife downloaded the app while we were there and got a free portion of doughballs.

This local pizza joint may look small and unassuming from the outside, but they serve up piping hot, cheesy goodness with every slice! I've tried several pizzas on their menu and have never been disappointed.
The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside while still being soft and chewy inside. Their tomato sauce is seasoned just right with the perfect blend of herbs and spices. They don't skimp on the cheese either - loads of melted mozzarella on every bite. I'm also a fan of their wide variety of toppings from the classic pepperoni to more unique options like bbq chicken or Hawaiian pizza.
In addition to great pizza, the service here is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, attentive and quick with their food orders. They make everyone feel welcomed the moment they walk through the doors. It's the kind of place where the employees know the regulars by name.
The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. It's great for feeding a crowd on game day or picking up a quick dinner on a weeknight.
Whether you dine-in or order for delivery, this pizza restaurant consistently provides delicious food, fast service and genuine hospitality. If you're in the area and craving an excellent pizza, this place cannot be beat. I highly recommend it!
Visited tonight with my wife while on holiday for a couple of days. The restaurant was a member of staff down but we were very well and attentively looked after by Alex, who was working his socks off and still managing to be very professional, friendly, courteous and attentive with everyone he dealt with including the customers who want everything “right now” and can’t wait!!! Well done Alex!
