My partner and I ate here and I wasn’t expecting too much but we were blown away with the food and drinks; we both had the steak and ale pie and it was honestly the best pie I’ve had for a long time. We got cocktails too and they were very good quality. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful too I highly recommend this pub!

Stopped for a light lunch. Lovely atmosphere and traditional setting. Food choice was excellent and for all 6 of us, everything we ordered we were very happy with. Very dog friendly and clean. Would highly recommend

I had a fantastic experience at Ye Olde Fleece Inn! The bangers and mash were absolutely delicious, and their vegan burger was a pleasant surprise. The fact that they cater to both meat-eaters and vegans is a big plus. What impressed me even more was how dog-friendly they are. My furry friend was warmly welcomed, and they even provided water and a treat. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, making our visit all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend Ye Olde Fleece Inn for a great meal and a pet-friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! 🐶🍔🍻

Absolutely gorgeous meal! But the whole experience was made 1000% more enjoyable by our serve Erin. They were so kind and helpful and also very humorous with us. It made a change to actually have a friendly and personal interaction with a staff member. We will deffinately be back!

Really well run pub which I think was built in 1685. Totally worth a visit and great to see it thriving. Prices were really reasonable too, and 2 log fires on the go.

Lovely pub and Great food! Service friendly but just a little unpolished or would have been 5 stars. Bit slow, no check backs, forgotten orders etc. Waiting staff seemed a bit unsure and inexperienced. A little training would sort that though. However Overall really enjoyed and Would still go back.

This was a great pub food was amazing staff where very friendly and a nice atmosphere. Really helped and always smiling nothing was too much trouble really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend the food and had a good selection off drinks live music on too

Had a lovely meal here with my family tonight! Food was absolutely delicious. Only downside was the service was slow however the poor staff were doing their absolute best and were very apologetic for the wait. Felt really bad for them as they were clearly understaffed with only 4 people waiting, bartending, and cleaning tables for the entire pub! They were lovely and the amazing food made the wait worth it 🥰

We visited here recently, the service was excellent and the staff were really friendly and attentive. I’ve passed here a few times but never been in, but this will certainly be my place to go for food in Kendal moving forward. Really nice pub inside and the food was very nice. Thanks.

Enjoyed a lovely beef Sunday roast, it was brilliant I don’t know what other people are complaining about! We are big foodies and like high end food and this was delicious. Roast spuds lovely gravy perfect, 15.95 for a roast dinner for me is a bargain! Dessert was also good, nice cosy place good service can’t fault it
