It was just so nice and quiet the room was amazing. The food in the restaurant was out of this world. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Lovely base to explore the lakes from. Cannot wait to visit again

After disappointing food and service in the past we are very pleased to say we had a most delicious Sunday Roast today. Wine and beer was of excellent quality. The service from our young waitress was so nice, she was pleasant and did everything to make our visit pleasurable.

Great pub 5 minutes walk from Oxenholme train station. With good looking food and superb outside beer garden with little hut shelters if the weather is a little inclement. The barmaid that served us was also so super friendly and lovely.
