Jimmy Johns

Jimmy John's is the sandwich shop with my #1 favorite bread. Their sandwiches are great, bread is outstanding, and their motto of being "freaky fast" is 100% true. They're like as fast as Taco Bell. I don't even understand how you make a sandwich that fast? It blows my mind haha. I've been to multiple locations and I normally always get friendly service. And the service has been extra friendly and sweet the last couple times I went to this location that I'm leaving this review on.

Very disappointed. Wanted to order for delivery and found out we were out of range. Only a 14 minute (2.8 miles) drive away. Called the location to ask what is there distance range for delivery so I would know for future orders and the man who answered the phone wouldn’t answer my question. Kept asking for my addresses and so I gave it to him and then he said yeah that’s out of our range (which I told him earlier in the conversation that we were out of range and just was wondering what their distance range is) and he asked if I wanted a pick up order and I said no and so he hung up on me. He wasn’t nice at all, didn’t answer my question, and then hung up on me. Very disappointed.

The best Jimmy John's around. They have a drive thru, and whoever makes my sandwiches makes them so the center of the fold of meat is facing the open edge of the sandwich, so no meat edges are trailing off it. Whoever crafts these for me, thank you for being the only person around here who understands the intricacies of sandwich making

Decided to order a sandwich from this location yesterday afternoon. I've only had Jimmy John's once or twice and it was a long time ago, so why not? The sandwich selection looked good, but I was seriously baffled by the utter lack of cheese. Very confusing. I'm used to a plethora of cheese options, so to see only "provolone" was profoundly disappointing. I would very much like an explanation of why only one kind of cheese and why provolone of all the cheeses available. I received my order super fast and the sandwich was fairly tasty. Nothing spectacular, but pretty okay. I was quite pleased with how fast it arrived, and was even more pleased that it was delivered by an incredibly hot guy named Alex. Alex too seemed rather despondent over the lack of cheese options. He was super friendly and listened to my rant. Despite my cheese related disappointment, I will be ordering again on the chance the hot guy delivers my food. More cheese! More Alex!

Okay, so I decided to order something different from my normal #10 Hunters club on a Sunday morning. I decided to try the new Smoking Kicking Chicken sandwich. What a mistake. There is hardly any meat in it & it costs a dollar more than the Hunters Club where you get twice the roast beef. The chicken is not bad but definitely not worth the $10!

The worst customer service in all of Kent. There are many choices to order lunch, especially during Covid, we like to support the local restaurants. I placed an order, which they messed up. They brought another sandwich (still wrong). The delivery driver asked for the wrong sandwich back (who does that?). Upon returning the sandwich to her, she proceeds to holler through my entire office that I was unprofessional. She then proceeded to call the office to speak with a manager (I am the manager), didn't realize she was speaking with me and proceeded to pretend to be the manager, not the driver that just hollered through the office. When I contacted the store to speak with a manager, I was told that she would wait to hear the drivers side of the story and get back to me. What happened to the customer is always right? Apparently not at this Jimmy Johns! Stay away! Food and customer service is subpar at best!
