Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

We love a lot of restaurants in the area, but this is probably the spot we frequent the most. The sweet pork, whether on the burrito or salad, is hard to beat. Plus, we LOVE the specialty drinks they have. We have never had to wait the long in line and we enjoy going through and seeing them make your food. The restaurant has always been clean and well kept and the staff has been friendly. I definitely recommend.

Ordered a large order for birthday celebration (6 people). Arrived at restaurant to pick up, employee drink cups sitting all around drink station-looks very sloppy. Cashier tells me she tried to call to let me know they were out of sweet pork. At 5pm on a Saturday?? We adjust our order and wait. Then she tells me they do have pork and did I want chicken on the side. I never wanted chicken in the first place, but got it on the side anyway. However, after all that confusion, got home (10 minutes) to cold sweet pork enchiladas, nachos with almost no cheese and no chips & queso-which I paid for. That could have and should have gone much better. Messy store, not the greatest customer service, cold and missing food. Really not great. Try a different location if you really want a proper Cafe' Rio experience.

My husband and I were so excited for Cafe Rio to reopen its doors in Kent, WA. We ordered curbside pickup and arrived a few minutes before our designated order time. When we pulled into one of the curbside designated spaces. From that space, we could see a rack in the window with several bags of prepared food sitting in bags on it. We sat and waited, and waited, and waited. When it got to be 25 minutes past our designated pickup time and no food had been brought out to any of the other cars in the designated spaces designated spaces, my husband went in to check. An employee grabbed a bag off the shelf that had been sitting there since before we pulled up. No apologies for not bringing it out. She just turned her back on him and walked away. When I checked the order, it had been made incorrectly, it was cold and the chips in our nach order were all soggy. We won't be back to Cafe Rio - ever. Deleted the app off my phone already. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area with better food and superior service. From now on, when we crave Mexican cuisine, we'll be visiting one of them.
