General's Bar-b-que

Was in yesterday and wished as soon as I started questioning the cleanliness of the place I would have turned right around. First of all, the cold foods like cole slaw and macaroni salad are just kept up on the counter and not refridgerated. The 'hot' foods are kept in stainless steel pans which are not kept hot and your food is microwaved and then slathered in BBQ sauce. All I can say is if you're claiming to be a restaurant there is absolutely no reason to ever use a microwave to warm up an entire plate of food. Second of all, if you're going to serve BBQ then serve good BBQ instead of dried out stiff meat. Took the entire day to get the taste out of my mouth and wish we had never eaten here. Pretty much the worst meal I have ever had, not sure how this place stays in business.

ZERO STAR. DO NOT EAT HERE. DO NOT EAT HERE. DO NOT EAT HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I'm from the south and not to say I'm the end all be all of BBQ but this ain't it. Sauce....Horrible. Meat.....dry and flavorless. Sides.....blah. Not to toot my own horn but I would put the general to shame with my BBQ. I don't think they care. I wonder what the catering is like. Famous Dave's it is.

hot links was wonder full and I don't know about everyone else that doesn't like this place you don't know anything about food they were wonderful. service was great I got to know the owner and they were friendly and the place was clean but a little bit dirty like in the corners but over all the hot links the service and the place is deserving a four star rank. Nice job
